Nah i like that move. Butts regressed, Doedees gone, Murray ACL, MM isnt really KPD height, Worrell plays more like a 3rd tall. Theyve fot the best KPD in the draft who can also play straight away. Good move.
In the last 7 years there have been 6 total PSD picks, with the most in one year being 2. So not sure what the point is about having PSD picks in the teens and twenties. We'll probably be the only team picking
He's lost his zip zap agility which made him impossible to tackle through 07-10. Hes never been overly quick, just has supreme ability to read the ball off the stoppage and knows eactly when to change direction.
His last 2 years has been riddled with 8-12 touches in a quarter followed by 4-5...
Incredibly good at his best. Has lost that burst and consistency since having LARS on both knees.
For a nothing pick, its kind of a riskless move really.
Yeah he pretty much is THAT good. Quite slight but is about 187cm and a James Hird comparison is fair. Played most of the year on either a back flank or a wing. Very very smooth footballer, has all the time in the world, consistently finds the ball and is pretty tough too. Could grow up to...
I thought Redden was extremely unimpressive.
Hurn, Bode, Elliot, Hughes, Yeomans, Pfieffer, McEntee, Bennett, Rishbieth, Varcoe and Obst should all go pretty close to being either drafted or rookie listed.
Dowler taken a couple of fine contested marks and has 4 goals. McKinley taken a couple of good marks too. Murphy and Nahas plenty of the ball, so too Ryan Jackson. Leigh Adams looks a skillful kid on both sides. Nathan Jones looks a brute midfielder.
WA have been very average. Struggling...
Big win to SA. Vic COuntry were very dissapointing.
A lot of good games by the SA youngsters. Jace Bode was best for mine. Top game thru the midfield, won the ball and got it going. McEntee in the ruck would have been 2nd best. Won the ruck all day and played very well dropping back...
Half time and a pretty good game so far. SA winning more of the ball and using it better up forward, leading by 17 points at 1/2 time.
Alan Obst has been very strong at Centre Half Back, taking a lot of marks and using he ball well. Looks a good sort. Brad Sugars started very well as a...
Couldnt find a thread so thought I would start one. Anyone else watch it?
Tassie led from start to finish and won by 60+ points. Big win and dominated the second half.
Todd Grima for Tassie kicked 10 straight in a simply outstanding performance. Looks to be a gun. Took 2-3 very strong...
Adrian McAdam has to be the no.1 player for this thread.
7 goals in game 1, 10 in his 2nd, 68 goals total for his first year. Second year only kicked the 20 goals. Played only one more game of AFL footy after that.
Bryce Gibbs will definately be a FS pick up by the Crows but im not too sure if he is eligible next year or the year after. Already playing reserves at Glenelg. Mark Williams rated him the best junior footballer he has ever seen.
Travis Natt is a possibility at Port next year...tho only a small one. Was eligible this year and played reserves at the Port Magpies. Also played in the NT team that played a couple of months ago. He will have to come on in leaps and bounds next year to be considered tho.
In my opinion, I dont consider there to be a lack of credibility whether he puts them out 6 weeks before the draft or two days after the draft.
His credibility in my opinion stems from the fact he goes out and watches these kids play all the time. A couple of years ive read his profiles many...
I think its ridiculous. People hav a go at someone who takes his time out to watch these kids play every chance he gets....but they believe as gospel everything people write on their club board who have probably seen sweet F all of any of the kids.
As for Colin putting up his reviews after...
Thats the whole point of this thread. Every player will not turn out as everyone hopes. Not every player is going to end up being a 200 game regular in your side. Just about every player has at least one fault or weakness that may hold them back. What are they?
Weve got plenty of outside midfielders like Meyer, weve got our share of small inside players like Monfries, but with Carr leaving, Hardwick retired, Francous future in doubt and James being gone in 2 years time then we needed a tough player that can win the ball.
We always hear from every clubs supporters how good their new picks are gonna be and always hear of the positives, but we rarely hear of any negatives once they are picked up by your team.
So how bout we have a thread where clubs supporters list what they think the negatives of their picks...
If this trade is correct then we may on trade that pick and another for a player.
Even so...diamonds can come from late draft picks so we'll have to see what sorta magic we can pull.
Read in the paper today that if a player nominates a salary for the pre season draft then that player must be put on a two year contract and that player must recieve that salary in both years.
So if Carr puts 600k on his head then he gets paid 600k both seasons. Matt Carr also cant take a...
