Just want to say that Bucks didn't live through the racism row with Lumumba and Clarkson is a hell of a less likely. This is really unfortunate for North, they desperately need someone to unite and lead the club. Now it just looks like another dud.
Missed several genuine moments for BT specials, and generally sounded disinterested or just outright unprepared. It's been that way the last 2 years when he's doing his TV work.
Maybe a full-time shift back to radio is on the cards. Or maybe he just hates the Swans.
While Chris Scott went to trade every one in, Longmire opted to draft and develop and build the culture. I haven't seen a team celebrate the way Sydney did.
On radio Saturday morning Petracca went in for an MRI with his other sore Dees team mates and it's reported he suffered a badly corked calf and a hair line fracture of the fibula.
Sauce: Triple M
So um, Kardinia right, is currently under development. You sure you want to play there, in front of 12 fans? MCG is the alternative Geelong home ground. Get over it son.
Well, Brisbane finished outside the top 4 so I think the Dees are safe, but it won't be a walk in the park this time. I can't see it going down to the line, but it won't be a 10-goal blow out.
If Pies win today, there's a lot of unfinished business for the Demons in 2-weeks time. This could be...
Every team has access to zone/NGA players, not quite like it was in the old days, but certainly NGA that act in the same way as Sydney's academy. However, not every club actually does anything about it. Quaynor for example, the Pies just nominated him in his final year, minimal development...
To be fair, Campbell was the higher rated youngster from the Draft. It's just that Gulden's found his level at AFL, and his level probably won't go a lot higher (it's already bloody high), while Campbell has a huge ceiling for improvement.
Geelong bid on him, Swans matched it. But North needed...
Clear fix up for the non-50 call Franklin should have had in the first. Petracca was well inside the 10m area when play on was called
Franklin gets the 50m penalty, gets the goal, Petracca doesn't get an epic corkie on his calf, no problem.
Melksham had a mare, Gawn kick the ball in the second half at goal like he was kicking a beach ball.
The other two options are either half-fit or in terrible form.
I'd think the obvious change is Mitch Brown in for Melksham based on his strong performance in the VFL last against the Swans...
On AFL360 when asked about how the Dogs are progressing, Bevo went on a rather bizarre tangent.
First, he declared himself indifferent on the bye, then disgusted that the Swans have played the bottom 3 teams in the last 3 games, and North twice leading up to the finals, and the team in 6th is...
Ok, so kids got it a bit rough, and he poked the bear far too many times. Looking back at some replays from last decade, there are arguably far worse offenders than Ginnivan, who never received the same backlash. Mr. Barometer in his first game was lambasted for his incredibly unsportsmanlike...
So, Tony McLean never answers the phone mid tackle? Hunter never dives? Never said Papley doesn't lead - he used to do it quite a bit, the big difference is that Papley wins his own ball far more often than he yields his body for a free kick. Can't say that nearly enough for McLean, who's sole...
Disagree. There's a lot of bitterness for a game that was unintentionally favoured throughout by the AFL - but it's pot calling the kettle black if Swans fans can't acknowledge 2005 and even Tigers a bit in 2017. Difference being Crows imploded, Swans just ran out of legs, figuratively and...
As an AFL fan I'd love to be able to look back on it with some positivity, but the immediate and enduring experience with fans since the game has been anything but. So yeah, * em. Hope they lose by 100 this weekend.
Ahh... Couldn't sleep last night and this wafted across my memory. I haven't watched a replay of it since, but from what I remember the game was extremely tough and close. Swans had more passengers, couldn't get anything at all from their forwards and their defence was underdone.
Biggest issue...
We are back baby! We've started the podcast again after a bit of a down period where we were a bit hit and miss for 2019/2020. We've got the usual roster of casters back on and the blog is cranking out content again.
