“Refusing to sell in sets of 1, 3 or 5 does smack of a ticketing organisation wanting to milk a bit more money where they can. It's greedy and cynical, and it's a shame.”
.... forcing 2, 4 and 6 sales is a bit unfair, but on the flip side the cost is only $30 a seat, so thats pretty good!
With Shaw in charge of North and in the full time coach’s chair, tonight he presided over Norths worst ever return of 14 points.
We like Shaw ....but, will tonight’s nights result (after his fast promotion and appointment from caretaker) and the reality of this early extraordinary negative...
Mate appreciate those thoughts... you should consider getting into special comments too! (Liked your insights on those two clubs year to date, very much, you may be spot on with those observations.) Just saw your profile animation - outstanding !
Cheers.
From a far (been OS a lot this year) honestly I am amazed where the Tigers are at, right now and where you appear to be heading over the next four weeks... and how much the Tigers continue to come at it! Especially after loosing so much quality to injuries so early in the season.. Truck...
Thank you - he is bloody good, I reckon. Enjoy.
PS Tigers are looking unreal again.. like a slick machine starting to wind up to full capacity... I reckon.
Help : Does any one know who’s doing special comments on fox 503 channel in Qld today in the Syd V Cats game, kind of sounds like that blonde x-Sydney player, who played a few years back and was romantically linked to Nicole Kidman for a bit (Bolton)? (excuse my memory fade jet lagged and never...
in press today: confirmed by Riewoldt, he has spoken about this time when GC tried to get him in his new book... said GC did go after him and offered $1m x 5yrs - biggest contract in AFL at the time.
Being an advertising guy, it’s pretty easy to provide a quick opinion on this... I reckon all four mids should be position as the... ‘four-claw’
e.g.
being “attacked by the...‘four-claw’
or
“taking on Geelongs dreaded...‘four-claw’
(Sel, Danger, Ablett and Duncan) Duncan is only going to get...
Fairer enough statement, a progressive more 'modern' consideration for sure.
Yet I reckon, give me class over fashion any day and when you have class in a leader the gains are sometimes hard to measure in units of sales and in dollar transactions. I say look deeper when integrity, decency...
Thanks for that information, I did not know that specific Collingwood team obligation.
My belief still is that it is the annual draw and its unfairness for all teams, that is the bigger issue. My comparison that the Pies played 14 games (9 home, 5 away) in 2017 at their preferred #1 ground...
For me the bigger challenge to fix, is the entire 'draw'.
It is more unfair, effects more clubs and is created annually by the administrating body, which I believe should strive to be running a 'fair' competition ...this should be prioritized, over revenues and marketing.
For mine the DRAW...
The evidence is starting to mount up. Cats and GWS both suffered the 1 game over 3 weeks burden last year, now Crows and Tigers have to manage their way through it. Footy is 'normally' a professional repetitive weekly sport... how can this be 'normal' if it is not, it is unfair on the best...
Agree - should be a great game!
I reckon, Crows played very well in the middle against Cats when we last met, they beat us by 21 points, but I thought cats 'foxed' a little, I reckon these days teams 'fox' and test stuff mid season against likely finals opponents.
Danger was interviewed on...
Guys I honestly do not mean to offend, I love the city of Adelaide sensational city, hugely respect your team too, loved watching you win live in 97 and 98.
But dump the worry ahead, enjoy your team, their unique abilities their amazing assets (and there are so many) the teams been amazing this...
I'm a long way away, so like many I have no idea what the MC are up to. But I really love that the MC have three elevated rookies playing in their first final in front of 90k tonight and them being able to gain that experience. So until I'm told otherwise, I'm hopeful Dan's omission is OK and...
Yep and that was after they went after Saint Nick as their Captain and failed - and Bomber as their coach and failed...
Then they went super uber big into Gaz ...and won him over
Liked: Tom Lonergan and Andrew Mackie's selfless farewell, and understated wander around their home ground.
Learned: That Buddy has decided to turn the tape on... to 'red hot'.
Hate: Qld footy in doldrums and the road back for the two teams will be tough ... plus no AFL next weekend to enjoy.
Breaking News: Harvard Business School research, statement to be presented this week... "We can confirm our findings and recommend that all employers encourage their top employee to leave - the removal of elite top talent greatly improves business."
Gaz has certainly has PULLED OUT as the thread states, from the Suns it seems. But maybe has not pulled out on his amazing career just yet. He wants to go back to 'back beach'…
For a year or more Gary has provide the words and made his intentions clear, but in recent weeks his action have...
Is there any chance?... Club and Player (both parties) know exactly where each other is at, both parties are happy, they 100% trust each other and the contract is just on hold to help the club and Menzel.
Maybe if the club can first finalize the broader plan, get deals done and firm on upcoming...
He has pulled the pin... on the Suns.
But maybe not his career yet. He is extraordinary.
For a year or more he has provide all the 'words' and made his intentions clear. In recent weeks his action have spoken even lounder than his words.
I think, Geelong may create a two year deal for him...
He could be returning home, that is the swing in much of the media chatter this week and I personally really would love to see GAJ back in the hoops in 2018. I feel that his return and some of his pure brilliance may reconcile many things, for player, club and supporters.
I want him back with...
3 days out.... if i could choose then... and if its poor weather, rain n wind, I'd vote to entertain the northern brothers... the Western Sydney Giants, down at the cattery. Whereas if the weathers fine, I'd rather tackle the Tigers at the G.
Thanks dazbroncos, I appreciate your bolded txt and clear opinion and was shocked to receive a response from you on my first crack at posting (just been reading for a long time).
For what it is worth I 98% agree with you too... but I simply believe that it is what is going on, wrongly or righty...
Perhaps the AFL may place a Cats home game in Melbourne week one, even if Cats are top two, so a game can occur in Melbourne in week 1 of finals - and in return Geelong may learn they will receive 8 home games in Geelong next year. It is big business (week one finals). They likely want a game in...
Maybe the AFL would prefer to see a game played in Melbourne in the opening week off the finals... and to this end Geelong in Melbourne may be the only opportunity
