    Heathcote DFL part 3

G'day boys just want to pass on thanks to the heathcote and Colbo trainers who handled the situation very well on saturday with young Levy. And also the heathcote netballer (whom i think is a nurse) who abandoned her netball commitments to help out the trainers on the ground and ensure that...

    Heathcote DFL part 3

interesting to see you've named Luke Bell there ump. he is a very handy defender who sometimes can get a little lost, however if you set him a minding job on a key forward he usually does fairly well. I seem to recall last year at Heathcote that he played a very good game on Weeksy when he...

What's happening in the Bendigo Football League #2

fair link between the burra and Ainslie. Lucas Matthews and the Langan boys have had a run up there. I think Chris Rourke is still coaching them

What's happening in the Bendigo Football League #2

what about Tony Barnes and Eddie Sheils? Both were premiership players at Seymour and team of century members (i think). Eddie was still running around only a couple of years back at Nagambie. I think he won a KDFL league medal in his 40's. Did Rick Hagar play at Northern united in the golden era?

    Heathcote DFL part 2

mitta got knocked out in the prelim this year. 3 ex colbo boys played up there (McEvoy, Fraser, Slater). Davis a boom recruit for Mounts - VCFL squad member and midfield gun in formidable Gisborne line up. Great for the comp that these good players keep coming into the HDFL.

G'day Lads I went along to the Purana Task Force Drugs Seminar last nite at the all seasons. It was an excellent presentation, however only 20 people from across 3 leagues plus numerous junior clubs showed up (of the 20, there were 4 people from my club and I reckon 4 from Sth Bendigo)...

Hoppers had a good hit out against Lanky in windy and sometimes wet conditions. I think Colbo won by about 10 goals or so, moved the ball well in trying conditions. Luke Chadderton played well through the midfield along with Corey Jacobs.

Re: Official GVFL thread Was talking to bigfooty's very own Wayne Weidermann last nite and it sounds like Jonno has lost none of his love for a stouche, the great man got sent off during the game. Pretty sure Jonno will notch up 200 senior gv games next week.

The roos may have suffered some injuries Scotty, however the way the reserves are travelling, there is plenty of talent ready to make the step up to senior football.
