We are the slowest team in the AFL at the moment. Our midfield really can't keep up with their opponents on the spread as they are all one paced - Jones, Trengove, Magner, Moloney.
Sylvia has pace but hasn't been played in the midfield properly yet.
Davey isn't as fast as he used to be...
It's evident that Fremantle are missing a big forward target this year. With Pavlich pushing up into the midfield, they are left with Anthony, Z Clark or Kepler. Their leading goal kicker is Mayne with 7 goals, after 5 rounds.
Mitch Clark wanted to go to Fremantle, Fremantle wanted Clark but...
Celebrating a premiership - probably the most rewarding thing for a player to do in the game.
There have been many great football traditions with how these premierships have been celebrated.
Players used to swap jumpers, resulting in St Kildas only premiership looking like a...
Upon reading another thread, I saw SLF mention that Ryan Bastinac was 'desperate' to take over the number 3 guernsey originally worn by a recently retired Norf superstar.
Who the hell wore number 3 for Norf I hear you all ask?
Well this man left behind a great Norf legacy and represented...
There is a need in society for a new and improved rating system when us men judge the attractiveness of the female.
We all know the generic system. "What's that girl out of 10?" "Yeah she's a 8 bro". There are heavy flaws in this system. Everyone is rating girls on a different curve. Some...
It has been revealed we are playing Brisbane round 1, Saturday afternoon at the MCG.

MFC's 2012 Fixture:

It is being reported by SEN that the Tiggies have appointed none other than Dean Bailey as an assistant coach in a panicked move after being trumped to the services of Neil Craig.
Could this club get any more embarrassing?
Enjoy the scraps of the competition. :D

Seems as though both Hankook and Kaspersky won't be sponsors next season.
"Melbourne chief executive Cameron Schwab would not comment other than to say the club was on...
Jack Watts in his second full time season as a key position player has been dominating over the last few weeks. Just occurred to me that there are probably a lot of people in this forum who want to admit their idiotic ways and apologise.
Have at it.:thumbsu:
Really think Watts has stepped up in the last 3 weeks, after those infamous subbings.
Been in our best in two of the three weeks. His first half against Adelaide was probably the best half of football we have seen him play yet. He played really well when the game was there to be one but...

This guy really seems to have some problem with Melbourne, doesn't he?
Extra lolz reserved for...
Having a good year so far and should* be on 9 brownlow votes after 4 rounds. Obviously a very long way to go but you would assume after the start he has had, barring injury, he should go close.
*unless they have given his votes to Judd instead
Thoughts? Ins and outs? Tips?
I really can't imagine us winning this for some reason. I especially think Hawthorn will be ready to rumble after their loss against Adelaide.
Hoping Frawley will be back in. Just watched that video of us training at the MCG on the Melb website, which happened...
According to the latest injury update:
Mass jizz.
4 weeks from now - 29th of March.
Our first game against the Swans - 27th of March.
Is a round 2 return on the cards??
Haven't seen Watts interviewed for a while. Just a reminder of what an impressive young lad he is. Speaks very well:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:
Good to see him feeling like he belongs and his performances are starting to show it, stepped up big time in the last quarter today when we needed him.
Opinions? He's pretty much been played everywhere since we drafted him, where do you think he will play for the majority of his career?
Personally I think he will end up a KPF.

I know he used to be s**t, and currently holds the reputation for it, but ever since he came back from injury last year he has been an absolute gun.
Not many ruckman i'd take ahead of him, especially with Cox going downhill quickly.
