Hi all,
Sorting some stuff out here and I found that I am accumulating quite a collection of former Crows players/coaches books. Though it might be helpful to have a list here for reference for any collectors out there.
Let me know if you are aware of any that are missing.
Eddie Betts
2022 -...
I saw this name pop up a few times getting cited as an influence or favourite of a number of acts I like (Wilco, War on Drugs, Nick Cave), so I thought I better check him out.
This is very cool
I am going to have to dig a bit deeper now...
Like last year, Double J will be replaying the count from 20 years ago on Monday.
What did you vote for (can you remember)?
With the passing of time, what has held up and what would you change your votes to now?
Talk that we will utilize the Mid-Season Draft to fill the gap due to the injury to Tom Doedee.

Are there any obvious options at this stage, would we consider giving Kyle Cheney another shot?
As announced (https://musicfeeds.com.au/news/hottest-100-1998-replayed-double-j/), they will be replaying the 1998 count on Double J on Monday 28th January.
This count is personally significant as it is the first time I can remember voting (I think it was the first year of online voting), this...

There has been some speculation over the past week why Port Adelaide are not extending Wines' contract beyond the end of 2016 to lock him in until he becomes eligible for free agency...
Only an hour until the Queen's Birthday honours are announced, will be interesting if there is an AK or AD awarded. Speculating that Major General Michael Jeffery will get a gig as catch-up to his two successors. May also see one of the recently retired State Governors get one; Malcolm...
Tomorrow night we find out the latest batch.
The stand-out from the 2011 retirements list is Barry Hall.
Peter Bell, Tyson Edwards, Simon Goodwin, Michael O'Loughlin, David Neitz and Rohan Smith are worthy nominations from previous years.
Will Paul Bagshaw finally get a gig after having been...
Now that this whole episode has been butchered by ASADA and dismissed by the AFL tribunal, I get the feeling this may head in a more extreme direction.
By all reports, the investigations have been impacted by Dank refusing to speak. Could the Victorian or Commonwealth government establish a...
Having had a browse through the thread discussing how there is now no interest in the NAB Challenge since they did away with the cup, and the resulting discussion around no more than 3 games are wanted/required, no body cares, nobody shows up to the final etc etc. I have an idea for a...
Have created a new Wikipedia page for the old Sturt District Football Association that became the Adelaide Metropolitan Football League in 1963 before folding at the end of the 1967 season.

The Crows were formed as a result of a merger between the 10 SANFL clubs at the end of 1990. Those 10 clubs had won a combined 107 premierships between them. Once they merged, they joined the AFL where they won a further 2 premierships, giving them a total of 109 premierships, rightfully...
A lot has been discussed about the potential stipping of the Brownlow from Jobe Watson, but could James Hird be the first person ejected from the Hall of Fame?
Surely if found guilty the "character" test would come into question.
A bit of a mouthful but sounds like the countdown will be good
Anybody had any thoughts on what they will vote for yet? I am struggling to find 10 australian albums that are gems.
My definites at this stage will be:
The Sleepy Jackson - Lovers
The Panics - A House on a Street in a...

After having read the current thread "Compromise on counting VFL flags", I feel we are missing the point. A premiership is a massive achievement, however only for the past 20 years have we had a "national" competition as such, so how should we value successes prior to that time?
I have gone...
Has anyone here been following the attempted Sheffield Wednesday takeover by Bates? I for one would love to see it happen. What are the Chelsea supporters here opinion of him? Would it be a good move by the mighty Owls?
Vote for you favourite, preferred, most interesting etc etc....
