Hi all. I heard on the new that the AFL was hoping this round would break the attendance record for Round 1 given that there has not been live football in Melbourne for quite a while. In fact the crowd number have been down on expectations. I think the rules/umpiring is have an effect. What...
Hi ya.
I am having a big issue with the media at the moment. I was listening to Footy Classified (working with the TV on in the background) and I couldn't believe the anti Richmond sentiment going on. Even Caro was having a dig. They were still going on about Cotch's hit on Shiel with Sam...
Hi all
My son is a Richmond member and has also recently become an MCC member. Yesterday he showed me an email received from the Collingwood football club regarding purchasing tickets for the upcoming final series. I have no idea where Collingwood would have got his details from.
Has this...
All three games completed this round decided by under a goal. Just looked at the scores for Port Adelaide and Adelaide and it is only 1 point the difference at 3/4 time.
Can anyone shed light as to the greatest number of games that were decided by under a goal in one round?
Watching TV at the moment and Eddie is on with the news that Nathan Jones is on TFS stating that they are a chance of winning the premiership this year.
I don't know why you would do that, best to stay under the radar so to speak.
Loving the fact that the spotlight is on Melbourne and West...
The father of Alex Pappos, Alex being the man who died of an asthma attack after the grand final, has been invited by Brendan Gale to be one of eleven people to carry the flag around the MCG before the game. He unfortunately will be overseas but his daughter will do the honours.
What a...
Hiya.
Did your family/friends spoil you and added items to your Richmond Collection. I bought myself a couple of books from the Superstore and bought quite a few things for my 3 boys. I spent about $350 there last Friday.
What did you receive yesterday that was Tiger related?
Just saw this wonderful story on Dusty's upbringing.
I thought is deserved its own thread. Sorry if it has already been posted, I couldn't see it anywhere...
FYI. At this moment someone is doing a recount of the 2012 Brownlow medal omitting any votes from the Essendon 34. It really means nothing but overall the result could be interesting.
I have always thought that Brett should have had a period of time as captain. For many years he was our shining light in the side and as soon as Trent came to the club there was talk about the newbie being our next captain.
You can't help but feel that perhaps this has eaten away at him...
:mad::mad::mad:
Is every journalist and commentator lining up to pot us this week?
Of course I don't listen to a thing Mark says as his spits his vitriol towards the RFC every chance he can get. He still has not forgiven us since the 70's...
I don't know what the Tigers have ever done to this man but to call Dimma an idiot is way over the top.

I don't know about yourselves, and perhaps this is because of the state of affairs for Richmond at the moment, but I am feeling dismayed towards the AFL in general.
The things that really pee me off presently are;
The level of corruption when it comes to ensuring a fair and even competing ala...
Call me a bit sensitive but I felt Dimma was a bit disrespectful towards Dusty when he queried if he could count to 10 while playing golf. I just cringed and given Dusty's background in leaving school early I felt it was unwarranted.
I have found that Dusty has really improved in his...
Hi, was at the game last night and couldn't help thinking that the two teams jumpers could be confused in the heat and speed of battle. And no, I am not using this as an excuse for Richmond's inexcusable kicking last night.
I was up the fourth tier at the MCG and I can say the similar amounts...
I watched the replay of the 1982 grand final, well most of it.
I went to that Grand Final as a young 17 year old in year 11 at school. I sat behind the Carlton cheer squad and cried at the end. Bad memories.
I have started to feel sorry for Carlton in recent weeks and actually hoped they...
Just a few things I noticed at the MCG last night. Firstly it seemed devoid of any real passion from Richmond supporters, even before the Bombers kicked away early. Even after we kicked back during the second quarter there was no real crowd noise.
Secondly the booing of Jack Reiwoldt...
I don't care what the price is, we need to ensure we keep this man in Tiger colours for many years. I was super impressed with him yesterday. Gave his all all day and is a beast. He, Ben Lennon and Rance were shining lights in an ordinary game.
It's finally here!!!!! Time to get excited peeps. How will you all be watching tonight?
I will be sitting in front of the TV with my sons yelling at the TV. They will be telling me that I am embarrassing and to be quiet, in a nice way though!
Unfortunately I wont be hearing IVAN!!!! yelled...
Rumours are that he is gone from the Cats. Would we be at all interested to draft him to provide some grunt to our forward line given we are trying to break into the top 4?
I know we would all like Richmond to be playing tonight. But given the condition of the ground and the spate of injuries so far I am a teeny weeny bit thankful we are not playing. Imagine if Cotchin or Deledio got a knee injury?
For those at the game did anyone find it strange the silence directly after the first bounce right after the countdown. Everyone was counting down then the ball was bounced then silence for a couple of seconds. Very strange.
