If Ridley were to turn it over up the ground, who do you propose is our interceptor when it rebounds? That's Ridley's strength.
If you restore Martin to his best role and replace that by removing Ridley from his, are you not robbing Peter to pay Paul?
Weddle is Ridley with the spooked horse ‘take off with no idea where they’re going’ running of SamFrost. Ridley much more controlled and doesn’t play fast though, even though he’s gas in a straight line.
We could easily engineer it so Ridley has the same freedom Martin currently had to control...
Go Hawks!
ROUND 14 TEAM
Richmond v Hawthorn
Saturday 15 June
MCG, 4.35pm
B: Jarman Impey, SamFrost, Jack Scrimshaw
HB: Karl Amon, James Sicily, Will Day
C: Josh Weddle, Dylan Moore, James Worpel
HF: Cam Mackenzie, Jack Gunston, Connor Macdonald
F: Jack Ginnivan, Mabior Chol, Luke Breust...
That’s a finals quality team.
With further maturity and experience it will be a top four contender.
Loving the stability in the lineup and players thriving in their roles.
Watson is made for games like this. He brings so much energy to the team and creates uncertainty for the defenders.
Best 23 we've put out for quite a while based on emerging/exposed developing talent, form, excitement potential, and hurt factor.
Will need the defence to play well and if they do, we'll win.
Lets freakin go.

...reason.
Lynch is a big inclusion considering how he usually performs against us, however no full forward has really gotten a hold of SamFrost yet this season. I'd be hoping we can restrict him to 2-3 goals max.
The only thing we haven't done during this recent run or form is put a team to...
Will Day missed 6 games to start the year and is averaging 21 touches, 4.1 clearances a game as a midfielder.
I'm sorry but I don't even know why he is being mentioned here, nowhere near it.
...a long way back compared to other midfielders so AA is very unlikely. Best case for him would be a squad nomination I think.
The other player who has had a quietly, consistently good season is SamFrost. But given his reputation which at times borders on meme territory, he won’t be considered.
...somehow I don't think I'll be too upset if we miss out on him. Smith is the player I want.
System is most important in the back half, pure talent in the front half. I'd rather SamFrost than Matthew Scarlett if it meant we had a midfield unit who beat the opposition in the I50 count every week.
Yeah looking at Calsher’s first handful of games, I cannot fathom how any other club did not see his potential as a tall forward?
Don’t tell me they were being respectful to our club and the Dear family!Does that exist anymore?
What a find and what a lad [emoji173]️!
Now let’s get a look at Wil...

1. People whinge about commentary, maybe just concentrate on the game as commentary teams are not receiving any premiership points? 🤔
2. Umpiring for both sides poor. Not sure why bump after the Sicily kick, that is a clear free kick, is controversial? 🤔
3. Bashing Kellie Underwood and Dermie...
...brewing something special. The way the guys play for each other and are growing as a group (Sam included) is a delight to watch.
SamFrost has been a whipping boy of pretty much everyone since he got to the club (I hated him) but he's really changed how he plays this year and has changed my...
Personally I don't see Battle as a Frost replacement. Frost is a last line of defence FB, whereas Battle is more of a third tall backman / pseudo-CHB. I think we'd be wasting him by playing him at FB.
I'm hoping signing Battle would mean we could release Weddle further afield. But then that...
I see we continue to be linked with Perryman and Battle. Perryman probably seals Hardwick as a permanent forward, and Battle is probably a straight Frost replacement.
Both play multiple positions as well - which clearly Sam loves.
It does leave us with a very tough to make 22, who do we...
...of their own deep into the term. In the end, the Bloods would take out their fourth win for the season thus far with a 20-point triumph. SamFrost was best for West, with 28 disposals, 12 clearances and seven tackles. For the Crows, it was Billy Dowling with 30 disposals, eight marks and six...
Sam didn’t say Blanck and Frost were at all fighting for the same spot, they were in the same best 23 side all summer and the idea was to play them both.
I think with Frost is that last year he was playing as a 2nd tall to Blank and also offering rebound. It was pretty well known in pre-season that Sam Mitchell had told Frost that he and Blank were vying for the same spot. Last year Blank played lock down defender and rarely got the ball, Frosts...
Purely based on this season will have to say SamFrost. In previous seasons I've wanted him out of the team/club for being crap and making stupid decisions over and over again.
This year I've had to eat my hat coz he's a completely different player. He's much more composed, makes good...
