Doesn’t matter how much money they might have in the bank mate .. The tsl salary cap is now only 70 thousand spread that out over a whole playing squad it doesn’t leave much per player ! the lower leagues can pretty much pay what they want to players makes it hard for state league clubs to stay...

Yeah I still don’t understand the Aaron Cornelius appointment. 1 minute they are adamant they want a quality playing coach for the on field gains ! then they appoint Cornelius was there just no interest from quality players?

Have also lost Rhys mott as well it makes the Aaron Cornelius appointment strange as they seemed hell bent on a playing coach unless there was little interest

Yes they afl would get murdered in the Melbourne media if they did that no way gutwein would let it happen either . I think the afl are starting to go into damage control re Tasmania there now talk of them playing a final down here . I also think there will be a large increase in funding to...

I’ve heard some very colourful stories about thurley over the years going right back to his playing days I don’t know how much truth is to them but apparently he enjoys partying and gets upto things he shouldn’t if you know what I mean . I think there’s definitely something up with him has...

I like your idea partly the best setup for a state league in Tasmania would be having it split into a northern and southern conferences have all the Hobart tsl clubs in the south all the Launceston ones and Burnie and Devonport in the north have the top three from each cross over for finals...

Wouldn’t get close mate I think you’re massively over stating the standard of the sfl maybe new Norfolk when they had there powerhouse teams could have been competitive

If you’re worried about lopsided results sending the tsl clubs back to regional comps is the worst thing to do remember the beltings last time ! the state league just needs to be funded properly the salary cap needs to be around the 200k mark that will allow clubs to retain players as well as...

I think there’s something off with Cameron thurley with his playing experience you would think he would have got a senior job somewhere buy now every club his gone to as an assistant he only ever stays for one season it’s a bit strange

Its a bit strange what’s going on at north Hobart they pushed so hard to change back from the Hobart city monicker to north . but they have massively struggled ever since Hobart city were actually tracking ok on field Kane richter was a very good coach don’t know if it’s just a coincidence...

I know he was a mate of winters but I was surprised when he got that job he didn’t exactly leave north Hobart on good terms when he coached them the players hated him apparently were pretty much refusing to play for him in the end
