We are talking about two different things. Footballers saying these things and fans are different. Fans do yell out homophobic remarks more often than calling Milne a rapist but there's not too much you can do if a member of the public says it. Doesn't make it right. Afl and st Kilda abide by a...
Well it's pretty simple. Some people are gay. Using it as a pejorative term is implies there is something wrong with it. Hence you are discriminating against people of that sexual orientation.
I don't understand how people don't get it.
"XXXXX won't play in a premiership team" or "XXXX won't win you a grand final" OR "You won't win a premiership with XXXX in your team" are all statements which mean nothing and are always inaccurate.
Duds far worse than all those players have been premiership players and will continue to be...
Re: Thankyou Ross
You make it seem like this is a regular occurrence when in fact if you guys beat us twice for the next 40 years.....you still wouldn't have a positive record over us.
I posted my congratulations on the other thread. I've got to say I was proven wrong by Riewoldt tonight. Coming in to the game I thought that Riewoldt isn't a player we should worry about because he's never had a huge influence against us. It helped him when you guys actually decide to play...
Good game you beat us everywhere on the field and in the coaches box. We played horrible but most of that was because you didn't let us play well. Not sure if you played that close to your best though but you certainly did enough to thrash us. You guys always had a better shot at beating Hawks...
He did get plenty of contested ball and while yes he gets a lot of cheapies he does damage the other team with his disposal. The problem is that sometimes St. Kilda have too many players playing the loose defender role in Gram and Sam Fisher (although being bigger he can help out as 3rd man up...
Re: Pies lift for 2 criminals and an embaressed Eddie...
Be very careful buddy about who you call a criminal. Didak has never committed a crime, just like Milne and Montagna never did.
I'm bored so I'll give my thoughts from a different perspective
5. Hayes - wasn't that damaging but still your best mid
4. Goddard - set you up nicely from defence despite some surprisingly poor mistakes
3. Harvey
2. Gwilt - instrumental in a bit of a fight back period when moving forward...
I don't think it was the fact his skin on the webbing of his fingers was split but the fact the fingers were spread that far apart to be able to tear the skin that hurt him more.
Is he really that lazy? Or is it sometimes because he is a smooth operator. Sure enough he may have been poor for that one game but sometimes it's due to the laconic way they move and make some things look too easy that makes it seem worse when they do not perform.
For us against the Bulldogs...
Milne is one of these small forwards that people hate, and it gets in the way of people seeing him for what he is. He actually isn't a huge squib and puts pretty good pressure on defenders. My criticisms of him are probably his mental toughness as once he starts missing a few or the game isn't...
Well Ricky Nixon is ok, but Ron Joseph has been known to spread rumours about his clients having talks with Collingwood so they can get bigger contracts from their current clubs.
The only thing I'd be concerned about is the fact you have a new coach. You would hope that they'd use the games to iron out the gameplan. From what I saw on Friday it was just a run-out for St.Kilda. If it was your gameplan and style of play it was pretty bad.
The bump was pretty hard but it was no huge hit, but it was cowardly nonetheless and a good 30+ metres off the ball with Brad "Penis isn't censored neither is pussy so why is..." ******** being blindsighted which meant he fell awkwardly. Yes he was injured because of the hit but that has very...
