No idea which flavour you tried, but the choc and choc honeycomb especially are terrific. You can get 3 sample packs for $9 too, cheap way to try before you buy.
Of course you were going to be sore after the first session, you're doing things your body isn't used to doing. What sort of boot camp is it? What are you aiming to get out of it? General fitness? fat loss? ??? more details
Having beers before hand was never gonna be a good idea... it doesn't...
wrists are just bone with a few ligaments in it... there are plenty of forearm exercises, but all you can do for your wrists is curse the gods for bad genetics
if you're not doing legs, nothing wrong with those shoes/shorts with a singlet. dont need runners and loose shorts to work your upper body.
some of the biggest/ripped dudes in my gym wears vans and just plain shorts/tshirt.
1) Dont have soft drink, replace them with water or diet drinks.
2) Dont have a chocolate bar with lunch
3) Dont have 'slack weeks' at the gym

Anyone found they get less bloating moving from WPC to WPI?
Cant stand the 'starving african' style stomach bloating i get after having a WPC shake (makes me feel like im getting fat, sometimes get gas too). I dont even scull it or have huge shakes or anything, but somehow just makes me feel...
Anyone bought from No Bull Supplements?
Just had a look at their site, currently their stuff is cheaper than bulk nutrients, and they let you break down bulk orders into individual flavours, so if you order 4kg you can get a 1kg of banana, choc, vanilla and coffee (they only have these 4...
Have you got access credit/debit card? If so, buy from bulknutrients.com.au or a similar online website. It'll be a shitload cheaper than buying from a store, and buying online means there will be no-one there to talk you into buying s**t you don't need.
Got sent a sample pack by some fitness place, had a sample sachet of 'BNRG Proto Whey' in it. Double choc, flavour was ******* amazing, like better than Big M's etc. So tasty...
BUT
Sample packet - 900g tub = $70. Per Serve (34.5g) - 20g protein, 4g fat (3g Saturated), 4g carbs (4g sugar)...
Protein shakes aren't targeted at the "average Australian" though. For people looking to build muscle they're fantastic (if you stick with paying the right price and right product, as people have outlined). Personally I use the banana flavoured WPC from bulk nutrients, $50 for 2kg and out of...
I don't have a problem with people saying they want a 'toned' look. I get what they mean - they want to be want low body-fat %, with some muscle mass, but not be huge. It's just that its a... poor word to use, and most people who use it don't understand how to get there. If someone was new to...
I hate going from a cut back to a bulk... just started again and i feel like im a fatty again after a week. Bloated and full all the time, blergh. Almost tempted to just stay lean.
Re: Gaining weight/Building muscle and maintain fitness
Even if you can get into the gym for 30-45 mins on 1 or 2 of your weekdays, along with your weekends, itll help. If you're skinny and training a lot already then just keeping stuffing yourself with food... maybe look into getting some...
^^^^ as what he said. Eat more. A lot more, and train properly. If you count protein powder as a supplement then get some, otherwise dont waste your money.
If you're gonna get one, get it second hand imo. Just couldn't justify buying one new.
What is your reason for getting one? Why not get a gym membership instead and have the benefits of weights plus all the other cardio machines so you dont get bored? Or, as the above said, go running outside :)
If you're not lifting much then... i dont know why you'd want this drink for such a small extra amount of protein. I presume you're doing mostly cardio, why not just drink water instead of a sugary drink?
Does anyone have any specific journal articles researching the truth in this? I'm not saying you're wrong, its just that some articles say that it exists up to 48 hours after, whilst others say its not true and there is barely any extra lingering metabolic rate over cardio. I'll have a look...
Not my pic, but explains what i hate perfectly... put your ****ing weights back! i dont really care about weight plates so much, but dumbells/barbells or when they take the bars off the benchpress/squat racks to use elsewhere and dont put them back... grr.
