I think I heard a reporter saying we were looking to get a full VFL game into McAdam before debuting him after we managed his loads yesterday.
Probably for the best given his history of soft tissue injuries. Keen to see him inside F50 with Kozzy at the G
Love Tholstrup's niggle. Was in a fight off the ball maybe 5 mins ago.
At the centre bounce takes down the ruckman in a ripping tackle and gives it to him on the ground a bit. Full of energy. The Tiges ruckman then hits him late after disposing of it. Schache gets the shot and misses badly from...
Very nice coast to coast. Schache working his man under the ball to take a grab, centred it to Hunter at CHF who found Kynan Brown who took a nice grab.
Missed badly - unfortunately his 2nd miss from a set shot this quarter.
Sestan linked up through half forward on a quick play with a nice 1-2 that resulted him chipping it onto Schache's chest for a mark and goal.
Fullarton also stuck a nice contested mark and goal.
Richmond then got one back from a free against Tomlinson that was maybe a bit stiff. They're up by 10.
I really hope McAdam can stay on the park.
Think he has a lot to offer at AFL level in our forward line. Having him and Kozzy inside 50 against Cats and Blues at the G will be exciting.
This was so good. It was after Toump went to Port and some panelists asked Bernie how they could be sure we wouldn't bottle another game like we did against the Saints and Bernie laughed and said "because the person responsible isn't at the club anymore"
Was great.
Yeah it doesn't make sense anymore.
AFL have created some strange precedents that are going to get footballing actions suspended all the time now.
They almost need to come out and re-interpret some of the rules like this one and bring in the right of way thing.
Yeah shipping is cooked now on Discogs, sadly
I've got nearly 1,000 records, maybe 80% from Discogs. Used to be a lot cheaper to get 2nd hand house/techno/trance records from US/UK/Germany.
He might also be too similar to play alongside Fritsch given I don't think he will ever turn into an animal bringing everything to ground in F50.
Fritsch also better at ground level
5 mates, whoever loses has to shell out for a weekend away for everyone.
Stakes are pretty high, you're up for a bit of $$$ if you lose. No real prize for winning, except glory - just don't come last. Last trip included a fishing charter.
Other random rules apply like if you tip against your...
I thought Oliver has been down on his best but serviceable until the last 2 games where he's been clearly hampered with his hand/confidence in his body.
Putting him at half back was a clear signal that the footy department got it wrong to play him - considering he then had surgery.
I don't...
He's essentially Jack Watts 2.0 - but those footskills could actually be pretty useful for us in the front half of the ground.
With the way we currently (often) move the footy I'm not sure how effective he would be, however.
Me and my close mates have a pretty funny footy tipping comp that has a lot on the line so watch quite a few neutral games.
The games this week were pretty good spectacle. Plenty of close finishes and upsets. I think the comp being very even is a good thing overall for football.
Yeah Woey always has some impressive moments in games without getting a lot of the ball - which is a good sign.
He deserves a full game.
Out: BBB, Oliver (clearly not comfortable with the hand and shouldn't be playing), Salem
In: Woey (full game), Pickett, Hunter and Tholstrup to the sub.
Yep that was terrible too. Same kind of game where they just smashed us around the footy and when we weren't tackled we fumbled. Lucky the lights went out and we kicked 5 quick ones as that deserved to be 8+ goal loss too
Like, were we on world record pace tonight for most holding the balls in...
60 less touches and 30 less tackles. Deserved to lose by 10 goals really.
Worst performance under Goodwin since maybe that 2020 Port loss when they spanked us?
