I don't know about buying but if you PM me your email I can send you my list of games. Predominantly Melbourne games but have some other teams too (generally notable games or finals)
He was terrible talking about carlton the other night. Was trying to make some comment about the culture when he played, players taking a stand and saying "I don't want to play with that bloke cos he's no good" and you could see Riewoldt just looking at him thinking, "you've got no idea mate...
As was mentioned above if you're watching a replay select the "key moments" and you can skip to the start of any quarter (or any goal if you know when it was).
If you had it set at 60 that's probably the reason for the slight glitchiness. Have a go at 50hz and see if it runs smoother. (60 is generally better for US content - Netflix will automatically switch to 60 on your ATV so if you leave it at 50 it should be fine. Not sure about Plex though?)
It my be an issue to do with the refresh rate on the tv. Kayo is 50hz the tv may be 60hz? Check out the whirlpool thread for more "tech" info those guys will be able to help far more than most here.
It's both. It's the operating system on some smart TVs (mainly Sony ones it seems) as well as on dedicated media players like the NVIDIA shield or Xiaomi Mi-box(I think that's what it's called). A lot of cheap media players run android tv so I assume they'll all have the kayo app available.
Thanks for the heads up just testing it now and it's streaming fox footy in 1080 flawlessly. Can't tell the difference between this and my cable channel flicking between the two. If the servers hold up this is going to be awesome. I just hope they don't s**t themselves Optus/World Cup style come...
Your internet connection? Or the Kayo servers?
My brother said he's also had some buffering/quality drop issues at certain times running from a PC through a TV via HDMI watching on demand stuff. I think he's on ADSL2 with TPG in East Melbourne. I've been using his account to test on my Appletv...
NBA games are available on Kayo on demand and they also have a $300 a year streaming service. Pretty ridiculous, it's not like you get all the games, ESPN generally show TNF, MNF and RedZone. TNF abd MNF are usually on 7mate aren't they? So it's only really RedZone they're protecting
Yes but kayo does not have NFL games on demand. So unless I get up to watch live at 3 in the morning and start taking Mondays off I won't be able to watch NFL/NFL RedZone.
Been playing around with this on AppleTV using my brother's sub to test it out
Layout is horrible but you can find what you're looking for if you know what you're looking for
Needs a search function
Needs a resume option
Needs to fix the FF/Rewind navigation
Archived/OnDemand games is a concern...
