Anyone who tuned in with the popcorn for fireworks between Buckley and Robbo probably would have been disappointed at how civil the discussion was tonight.
Really like how niche and dated some of the video content is that they manage to keep pulling out for this show. The Viney interview about Boris Becker a decent example. The Melbourne promotional campaign video that played last night too.
I would have absolutely zero doubt Sportsbet are doing very well out of it.
If front bar type footy humour isn't really your thing then this show would just seem like a big advertisement for beer and gambling.
Yeah that Lynch cross was almost funny at how comical it was. Think Mooney even realised at the end that Lynch just wanted to be anywhere else in the world and tried to wrap it up swiftly when it wasn't working
If I were Gullan, I'd be inferring the fan would be strongly displeased. The guy hasn't even played a game for the club yet and then he squiggles on the premiership merch, it's a dilemma no doubt
It wasn't my comment as you say, but sure I traced through the thread and found it. Read the first few words again - "For some of us". So maybe not for you, but for some people, AFLW is a good thing because it gives women the opportunity to play football nationally and professionally like AFL...
Not really. That quote is her talking about playing tennis against a man, but I don't think anybody here is advocating that women should be playing against men in footy. No one is trying to claim that AFLW teams would be competitive against AFL teams either.
As hard as this may be for you to...
a) Why is their attractiveness relevant at all
b) I find comments like this a waste of space on web pages too
c) How long have you been practicing misogyny
Guaranteed? That's a little dramatic. So you must know every single AFLW player and their work ethic.
A pretty major difference between the two comps is that one runs during the AFL mens season and one does not. When Saturday afternoon AFL tv ratings are hardly impressive why would a TV network...
To be fair 90% of what is shown on television is hardly what I'd call "broadcastable standard".
If you seriously believe that everyone who supports womens football does it to appear politically correct, as you seem to be insinuating, you are kidding yourself too
