What? As it stand you still have the COLA for the next two years. All the AFL are traying to do is remove the COLA as quick as possible. Which is fair to the whole competition.

What's the big deal? They can still make trades but will have to lose the COLA to do so. This is to prevent them from targeting players on front loaded COLA deals.

The acquisition of Franklin was the final straw that broke the Camel's back in terms of the loss of the COLA. That loss of money could hurt big time. And franklin's salary will always be in the salary cap for a long time. It's very early days, it's high risk still but also potentially high reward.

Freo and West Coast contribute more than $10,000,000 combined each year back to the WA Footy Commission. I think you will agree that is a whopping amount considering that WA Footy is very strong throughout the WHOLE AFL.

So many major issues that are very serious have come to light under his tenure. And for the most part he has been extremely ignorant as to their existence. Add to that the farcical rule changes, his ridiculously long holiday during the season and his crazy pay packet. I really dislike him.
