It appears the Iwobi transfer fee is £28m potentially rising to £34m.
The fee probably sounds quite a bit more respectable than the £40m some Arsenal fans were celebrating over on Twitter.
The Rojo deal wasn’t ever on, plenty of the good Everton journos have said we only ever wanted a loan.
I’m quite happy with Iwobi though, I understand £35m is a lot of money but at 23yo he’s got a really good mixture of Premier League experience but still plenty of potential to grow.
Watford have signed Ismaila Sarr for a club record fee.
He was linked with a move to Palace over the last couple of days. Many thought should he sign for Palace they could then allow Zaha to move on.
With Sarr now off the table and Palace looking incredibly unlikely to bring in any major...
I feel I’m always one of the more optimistic fans whenever we have a new signing.
I still rebate the debates we had over Bolasie and Klassen in previous years. I was more than happy to back in those players (even though I was wrong) to give them a chance.
However I cannot believe we’d be...
Absolutely mate, we’d all done stupid s**t at that age. However when you’re a professional footballer you cannot go around doing/saying those kind of things without coping the deserved flack, regardless of age.
According to the Guardian it’s a £29m deal with the potential to rise to £36.5 after add ons and NO buyback clause.
Well and truely worth the wait, well done to Brands and all involved.
Now let’s hope he can reach his full potential at the club!
A massive loss for the club, has been our most consistent player over the last three years.
I’m happy for him to secure a deal to a Champions League club that’ll also win silverware. He was an ultimate professional and a class act. Some of our former players could take note!
He’s certainly not...
I’m very happy with the signing, £8.5m in the modern market is really not a lot of money.
At 29yo he admittedly doesn’t offer any resale value or the ability to improve from here but he’s still got several good years left in him.
I don’t expect him to start in our best XI but will no doubt...
Yeah it was a read unfortunately, if the same tackle was down from a Wolves player I’d be crying for a red. It was a late, dangerous tackle and he was the last defender, really cannot argue with it.

Mina is officially an Everton player, £30m deal. Barca do have a buy back option.
Stoked to be bringing him in.
Any out going (loan or transfer) can go ahead whenever, as long as that club is still in their transfer window.
Most of Europe will close on the 31st of August still.
