Was looking forward to playing at Marysville this weekend but apparently its under water. Played 9 holes at Dorset and it was pretty bad.
Good thing is with a bit of sun they should all be playing well by summer.

Yeah in some ways I think the local shows are better because it seems more authentic (and how its supposed to be), even though the standard may not be as good.
I have no clue on riders or anything. They have PBR on the Country Music Channel some nights which is pretty good.
I dont mind Rodeo. Only ever been once which was at some water-ski type show... so while im sure it wasn't the best riders and only a few bulls it allowed me to get right up close to the action. Scary stuff!

I had a game at devilbend the other day... it was ok. I think it would be much, much better with extra water, as much of the course is based around water hazards. But not a bad course layout and low cost.

On Croydon... you sure we're talking about the right golf course, not Dorset or something? Just, i've played a fair few courses in my time and to put Croydon as one of the worst seems baffling.
But yes.. each to their own.
