Invites seem to be much easier to get now. It's not very intuitive at first. The circles have a lot of implications you don't deal with so much in other platforms. Takes a while to get your head around them.

$199 for 80G, it was actually cheaper than some of the Intel SSDs I saw, but prolly about $50 more than a standard SSD. It's probably about twice as fast as a standard SSD. For me, if I was going to get one I thought for the few dollars extra it offered the best bang for buck.

You can get a good 60G SSD for around $130. SSDs are particularly good if you are in a (relatively) low memory situation because the disk caching is so much faster. If you are swapping between lots of different programs or tabs an SSD would be a good option. But like you say it depends on...
