Jason Johnson I won't take. He is a true hard man - eyes always at the ball, shirks nothing, and if a hit comes it comes.
mark Johnson I considered a sniper for a long time, but to his credit he added footy to his list of talents in 2005.
Murphy is soft in the extreme, Rioli and Peverill I...
Must be a Euro-pr0n producer or something.
Still, as much as you want to keep who you can, and as much as I think the kid can play a bit, he was the last bloke we drafted in the proper draft, and therefore corresponds to being our second-last player on the list.
I'd like to think we can...
BigFooty Game of the Year: Melbourne vs Footscray, Rd 20-ish
BigFooty Upset of the Year: Hawthorn vs Bears, Rd 5-ish
BigFooty Effort of the Year: North coming from 4 goals behind to beat Collingwood, with 4 minutes to go
BigFooty Defensive Effort of the Year:
BigFooty Player of the Year...
I think both their salaries are fair given today's market. I don't think ANY club would spend 600k a year on Grant, even if they had the room and the dollars. Better off chasing two players on half that - still get quality.
I tend to think of it as sucking in a 200-odd gamer in Farmer.
He wouldn't have stuck it to <insert no-name Sh1tfish forward> if anyone but Farmer was next to him.
Sucked in.
Obviously not your work, so don't take this as personal, but that side is just stupid.
Imagine naming a 5'11 midfielder at full-back, and your ruckman is a bloke whose fate was decided by being to short to play a key position at 6'1.
Seems a hodge-podge of "who's played less than 10 games...
Said that Jordan wouldn't be at Carlton next year, and is talking to Collingwood ATM.
Anyone actively chasing this dud has a list in trouble, IMHO. Talking up a no-name.
Re: who's done their dough on judd?
I've hedged some small bets on several players - Luke Ball probably looking the best at the moment at 50-1, as well as Cameron Bruce for a place at 24-1, and Embley a real smokey at 250-1 - but Judd was one I never had money on... odds were always too...
Ah yes my favourite Bourkey moment was when he accepted a handball from a teammate on the wing in his one and only North senior game, fumbled the ball, tripped over it, got up and handballed it straight to an opponent. Vintage "Beaker", that.
Not even the great EJ. He was 21 when he played in that flag side (DOB 17.7.33) - still no mean feat, but I still reckon Jakovich has his claims, even more so on the criteria you've set. Born in 1973, he was named CHB in both Eagles flag sides at age 19 & 21.
I think the article, while an entertaining read, and a very high commendation on the phenomenon that is D.Wells, does hint at racial condescenscion... eg. black players can be skilful, magic, have a sixth sense etc, but don't dare refer to any as lazy, risky due to homesickness, etc. If the...
Fair points gentlemen, but as the caller said "TAC support Richmond, so I won't drink and drive?"
I think the drink/drive message is one that needs to be hammered home, and I say that as someone who has been nearly pinged for it (waved through while poo-faced) and realised afterwards how...

Might as well change for real ODNs. Carlton have screwed my weekly punt. Getting caned. You are a shambles of a football club. Enjoy paying your coach 700 gorillas a year to keep you hovering perilously above the bottom 4. Get stuffed, Carlton.
Caller on ABC Radio (I think that was the station) raised an interesting point yesterday.
Should the TAC sponsor clubs at all?
Our rego and possibly our fines go to the TAC to help victims of road injuries, and the TAC is a basically a government body. Is it a waste of $500-750 large to...
Best thing I reckon is that you can change from screen to screen in a split second. On the old version, the stats page takes ages to come up, and almost as long to refresh.
Good work by the Cats. It's taken a few years, but instead of quick fixes it's more like their draftees hit their straps around the same time which is probbaly what Bomber had planned all along.
I think North are probably using Geelong as a model for how to rebuild for the next 3 to 5 years...
Best bets I've got onto this year were (a few weeks ago) :
D.Wells at 80-1
L.Ball at 50-1
L.Darcy at 150-1 (ruck rules will suit, could have polled in 12-13 games last year)
J.Kelly at 50-1
M.Richardson at 125-1 or thereabouts (6 or 7 good games and he's a chance, not unlike Fevola)...
