Four of the free kicks were holding the ball. Three of them the player took two steps, got tackled and didn’t correctly disposal the ball.
All three of those was a lack of awareness from Acres.
The fourth holding the ball Blues player was on the ground and dragged the ball in. Didn’t get...
Mistaking can happen, I'm ok with that. The umpire could have heard only "you ******* idiot".
When the umpires say to Pearce when questioned, we didn't hear it. Then I have a real issue with that.
So, Ralph made it up or Pearce was lying?
1. Banfield and Holland one on one, Holland his arms around Banfield.
2. Acres marks a touch ball and takes two steps and get tackles and ball knocked out of his hands.
3. Amiss and McGovern one on one, frontal contact and Switta kicks the goal. Didn't...
Basketball Coaches do all the time.
Not in the same way it could be abused in the AFL.
Coach wants to call a time out to slow down a run. The ball comes from hands which is the most difficult for a hands for umpire. The coach challenges is taking their change to get back their time out. They...
I think there be a danger for a team to be in front and they call for a review. The request is tactical and allowing them to set up behind the ball. There needs a risk to the team challenging.
If my aunty had balls, she would be a coal miner.
Jackson hitting ball in the corridor and Treacy drop mark were mistakes. Who knows what would have happened, if they executed.
The unpaid mark on the wing, and the touched ball mark being reward, certainly affected the result.
Jordan's dissert...
Where did I say that the clubs weren’t own by the WAFC.
Protecting WA football they are doing a really bad job at that. Percentage of drafted players has been declining.
WAFC refused to restructure the elite pathway because of WAFL clubs tunnel vision.
Back my point is Fremantle can’t...
Fremantle basically break even each year with one of the least AFL funded club plus paying royalties to the WAFC. Funding a second team would push Dockers into the Red and cuts would be needed to be made to survive. It's in the interest for both the Dockers and Thunder to be aligned.
How about the 1990’s dynasty clubs of North, West Coast and Essendon?
Archer. Fletcher Wanganeen
Worsfold. Jakovich. McKenna
Long Kemp. Peter Matera
B Harvey Carey Hird
Sumich. Lloyd. Watson
Ruck Salmon, Stevens, Pyke

The points system is a joke.
First round picks are undervalued by 25% to 50%.
Then teams get another 25% discount on top of that.
Maybe we do this:
1. Bidding is before the trading period.
2. No discounts.
3. Keep the current points system.
4. Teams go into deficit are carried into future.
The second team always has less supporters than the established club in a market. A third would be even less.
Swans have 1.3m fans and 65k membership vs GWS 202k and 33k membership. So its about 2:1 ratio for memberships
Lions have 826k fans and 54.6k membership vs Suns 118k and 23.3...
Perth 2.2m - 2 teams
Melbourne 5.0 m 9 teams
By the math, you could have 4 teams in Perth.
The issue is most people won't switch teams and most people in Perth already have a team.
