Yeah you can skip episodes 1-8. 1-4 was ok, nothing great. 5-8 was deadset boring, possibly the most disappointing arc of the entire series. 9-12 was brilliant, the tension, the build up, the twists and turns, best of an excellent series. If you are time pressed, I'd go straight to that arc.

Yeah I know what you mean about Rebels but it was aimed at kids, so they had to keep it to a certain level. That said, that final battle on Ezra's homeworld had a fairly high body count for a kid's show. What did you think of Twilight of the Apprentice?

The first 15 episodes were absolute rubbish. Then it got a little interesting and then the last two episodes of the season got quite interesting. I wonder if, given the finale (which I won't spoil), it might link into Rebels. It could be a far more interesting season 2.
