His stats have been impressive this year.
22 Games, 507 Disposals, 107 Marks, 11 Goals and was in the best players 12 times.
He is a big boy, very solidly built and a great SANFL player but hes not AFL material.
Well...very dissapointing again. Far too inconsistent this year and its very frustrating. Its about the 4th time this year weve played an absolute cracker of a game and come home with an outstanding victory....only to play like absolute D-graders the next week.
North completely outplayed us...
Brilliant win. Especially for Tommy Carrs 100th game. I love beating the history makers on their own turf.
Eagles kicked the first goal of the match but that was the only time they led and the only time they looked like threatening to win the game. Port piled on 6 goals in the next 15...
Exceptional footballer. Excellent at just about everything. Kicking is great, handballing is close to the best ive seen, marking ability for his size is ridiculously good, reasonable tackler, good goalkicker, leads by example.
Only negative thing about him is his unneccesary abuse of anyone...
Ah I love footy!!
Today was one of those days that really seperates the true football supporters from the bandwagoners. The loyal fans to the hangers on. You rock up halfway thru the reserves match and its raining pretty steadily with no sign of stopping and your one of about 5 people...
At AFL level hes been played basically in Chad Cornes old role around the flank/wing and I dont think he is suited to that role. Most of us think he'd be better suited coming out of Full FOrward.
GO YOU BLOODY MAGPIES!!!!!
What a great victory! 10 minutes in I didnt think we'd get up and was thinking of what to write and that its dissapointing that our season is gonna go down the drain again....but you never write off the Magpies!!
South had control for quite a lot of the game but...
Pretty good game of football, dissapointing result for Magpies fans.
The second Adelaide Oval Friday nighter between these two teams this season. Unlike the match in Round 2 which had the heat rule in the reserves, this match was played about 25 degrees cooler. Very cold out there but it...
You mustnt expect much if you thought Funcke played well. Numerous times in the second half he failed to man up on his opponent and three times he turned the ball over which led to West goals. His disposal is terrible and he has minimal defensive skills for a defender. Hes another Adam...
Very good win by a very strong Magpies outfit today. Jack made a lot of changes and seemingly picked players that wanted to put their body on the line and it worked. Excellent tackling, great marking, plenty of attack and confidence and a great win in the end.
West got the jump in the first...
YOU ********ING BEAUUTTTYYY!!!!!
What a great win....what a great game. Easily the best State game ive seen (including SOO). Fantastic effort by both sides.
Will try and write a review later
For a start the SANFL owns the two clubs liscence so it IS their problem.
Second of all thats fine. Align the Power players with the Magpies, start a Crows reserves side, they can spend $300k buying the States Underage players from the clubs and still make a $1.5M profit, both clubs keep all...
You dont have to ask me those questions Holly. If you were to search for mu posts on the subject over the past 12 months they echo the same queries as yours does.
It is to hard to setup, especially with the Crows and them having to start a new club and find supplementary players and other...
Hes been kicking 2-4 goals every week, leading our goal kicking, coming about 6th in the league and would probably be in the top 5 in our best and fairest despite missing the best part of 2 games thru injury.
Thats about what we expected and certainly isnt a poor showing
It was an example. You do know what an example is dont you? What has Waterhouse got to do with anything??
Would you drop Gowans on the basis of one poor game or would you give him a game the next week to turn it around?
If GOwans plays a bad game does he get dropped the next week? No he gets a chance to turn it around.
How IS it a ridiculous rule? If the players form doesnt improve the second week then you can drop him to the reserves until he lifts his game. I dont see how its that bad.
Why do they need revising? I think the rules are fair. To play two consecutive games after playing an AFL game isnt a ridiculous ask of the SANFL clubs.
Doesnt matter what would hav ehappened before round 13. They broke the rule two weeks ago. Played him one more game in the league side and you could have dropped him to the reserves for a month if you wanted.
As someone else said, if its that big a hassle then pull out all the AFL listed...
He gott 11 disposals and 6 marks or something. Not outstanding but not the hopeless stats centrals fans are going on about. Surely enough to keep with the agreement that an AFL player must be in the senior side for two consecutive weeks before being dropped to the reserves. Meanwhile Travis...
err no raboyle.
Surjan played for the Power in Round 5, for Centrals league side in Round 6 and in the reserves in Round 7. So they didnt stand by their agreement.
