I think we need the pick this year so it will be well and truely on the table for the right offer. Wouldn't do a 2 for 1 deal as its the extra pick we really need this year moving from 11 to 1 is irrelivent unless we could move on 1 in another 2 for 1 deal.

We turned 15, 34, 53, Currie, Basti into 17, 26, 28, 47, Anderson 15 to 17 - A small downgrade nothing exciting 34 to 26 - An 8 pick upgrade, ok but not special 53 to 28 - Huge upgrade for this year, balanced by losing 2016 3rd rounder Currie to 47 - evens, happy to assist Cuz Basti to Anderson...

You may only execute as many picks as you have list spots. Using them for matching is not executing them. You may execute 3 picks using 10 picks to pay.

Actually the opposite. You can do exactally that, thus GWS, SYD and Bris all unloading their top picks!

I agree, but apparently Emma Quail told someone there you can only take in (not use) as many picks as you have spots. I think its a miscomunication but its caused panic for them.

There is debate about what picks you can use. i.e. if you have 3 open spots and picks 23, 25, 34, 38, 40 That you can only use 23, 25, 34 in the draft and the rest are lost before any bidding.
