Incorrect. The school season is short and Ellis played a few games for Box Hill during the year. If he hadn't of missed so much time/fitness etc, the plan was to give him a game or two.
Nice assumption, but no.
My old man was born and raised in Box Hill and followed Box Hill in the VFA. Hence, he pushed that onto me and I've followed BH in the VFA/VFL since day dot. The AFL alignment with Hawthorn merely worked in my favour.
21.3 Players who have not played at least two (2) VFL Reserve Grade matches in the relevant season shall be ineligible to play in the VFL Reserve Grade Finals save where immediately prior to selection, a listed player has missed through injury, at least ten (10) consecutive home & away...
Round 1 was a long time ago.
On further inspection, Willy have 10 Pies players eligible. We have a few, but they are all either injured or wrapped up in cotton wool.
Mind you, we beat Preston the other week who had 9 Blues playres playing.
You guys will certainly be favourites, but we've performed very well in this final series and anything can happen. The underdog label will sit well with us.
We were absolutely rubbish bar Boyle, McGlynn and Kane.
Davies, Rowe, Shaw and Morrison tore us apart.
Pendlebury will be a good player.
I saw Stevie Greene put his head over the ball for the first time in 6 years and get a free kick in front of goal, gave me a giggle.
Cox and Toovey played...
I thought Nicholls was rather quiet for the first 2-3 quarters myself. You guys utterely mauled us out of the middle with guys like Morrison. Rowe and Shaw were unstoppable off half back flank.
I like Shannon Cox. Played ressies and tore us a newie.
Noticed Danny Stanley's kicking was a bit...
I did. From memory, I remember commenting that Rusling was having a good game, but Iacobbuci didn't do all that much damage.
Your mob got up by a truckload though, thanks to Kane McKenzie, Jackson Barling, and Tom Langlands. Harry O'Brien is a good size though, did a good job down back.
G'day gents.
Was there today. Thought Jason Cloke was absolute pants and gave away at least 5 goals, whereas Travis looks a class player (despite a truckload of peroxide) and will be worth 5 goals in the future.
Egan looks bloody quick off the mark. Potential a plenty.
Still a tad...
I haven't seen today's match yet because I was at Box Hill, but so far into the season I have been impressed with Lokan and think he has earnt a spot in your best 22.
Firstly, Didak is a pretty late bloomer, but he has a great talent at gettign the ball and running it and kicking fairly accurately.
On Rocca, If he's dropped for a single game, I'd be absolutely astonished.
What is this board coming to? Some posts are downright pointless and irrelevent...
