Not intended to be a Sydney circle-jerk thread but a genuine discussion about which of these guys is more damaging. I've always maintained that if I could only choose one it'd be Tippett. To me he's the focal point while Buddy is the flair.
IMO you build a team around Tippett. Not so with...
Strange that Martin has all this untapped potential yet Parker is currently at least on the same level and younger. Parker can, and most likely will get even better.
Fair enough wasn't having a go at all. I'd be surprised if it eventuates but that's no slight on Daniher. Forward's of Tippett's calibre don't just come around every year.
Pretty dumb post.
Not upset, though. Thanks for your concern. I'm just thrilled we have Jack and he's part of a very good midfield at the Swans.
If I ever get a chance to talk to him I'll ask him if he rates winning a Big Footy poll ahead of leading the coaches award.
The classic he didn't play well against my team so I don't rate him post.
He's beaten tags before and the fact is he's having a better season than Dangerfield. All that matters is now, and right now Jack is better.
Who is better next year and onwards is another matter that doesn't concern me...
Played less than 10 games and received his first tag today. Still racked up 19 touches. No player is miles ahead of the other but Mitchell is more dangerous and his hands are lightning.
The other 17 clubs. I doubt those 11 people are club officials.
You're pretty quick to throw insults around for someone who doesn't even read a post properly.
Really hard to believe you're trying to use a Big Footy poll to strengthen your argument.
The old myth that playing in a better team makes it much easier is just that. A myth.
Jack is competing with JPK, Hannebery and O'Keefe to get the ball with Parker and Mitchell trying to get their hands on it.
The fact that Kieren does more with the ball than most, at the same time as working...
Did you have an issue with a similar thread a couple of years ago started by a North supporter comparing North and Sydney's kids?
(my apologies if you weren't around then, can't see that on my iPhone)
Using the majority vote on big footy isn't really conclusive. There's no more biased site on the Internet.
Not saying Dangerfield isn't very good, but seriously.
