It isnt even close to top end under 15 boys. A decent College under 15s team would beat most AFLW sides by 20 goals. Developed 15 year olds can be 6 foot tall. Skill levels, speed, stamina and strength are all above that of even the best females. Erin Phillips, easily the best player of all...
Actually think the umps are probably the least biased of anybody. Sure they favour midfielders, but in terms of team biases, they are probably the least likely as they must do a 3,2,1 for every game regardless if it is an exclusive all Victorian Friday night "Blockbuster" or Sunday twilight on...
Butters and Rozee are better than any "young" mid the Crows have. I just don't see who you would be referring to? Soligo? McHenry? Hately? None of those guys are even in the same postcode.
Rozee had 2 votes in the first 5 rounds. Hence my argument his last 10 games (yes 12) technically) have been outstanding.
Rozees best is better than the other 2. The other 2 have been far more consistent so far.
Agree. Rozee played forward for 3 year (the second 2 injured). Walsh was an in and under mid from day 1, Brayshaw has been that for the last 3 years. Now they are all playing proper midfield they can all be compared properly.
Both Brayshaw and Walsh have a better body of work

Clubs that heavily rely on Pokie on Fitness venues for their income streams, particularly in Victoria will also be the worst effected.
West Coast, financially will be enormously in front of everybody this year you'd think.
I've heard the theory that is the Big Melbourne Clubs that have been the most adversely effected by the Covid Crisis.
These big Vic Clubs get huge revenues from the AFL Endorsed and Promoted Spankbusters at the MCG where they get significant financial up lift from the Gate. These have not...
When you think about it, Richmond's 2 Premierships have been the back of overwhelming home ground advantage, a generally weak comp, a smattering of stars and the rest role players.
Their list doesn't compare favorably with any premiership list in living memory, yet they've won 2 in 3 years...
The competition feels so much weaker these days. There aren't any great teams. The fact that players like Jack Reiwoldt and Trent Cotchin are considered stars tell you all you need to know. Counts against Dusty a bit.
89 was Port v North Adelaide. Port destroyed North. The joke always was that North went into that game with "one goal in mind.. " because they only kicked 1 goal for the match. Dont remember it being particularly violent though. The 91 GF between North and West was pretty vicious.
Glenelg only played in a GF twice up until 1969, but from that point on, they became a league heavyweight making the grand final 12 times between 1969 and 1992. Of those 12 GFs they faced Port 5 times and lost all 5. So you can see why they hated us.
Despite their lack of success the Bays...
Every Showdown is a big game. Regardless of where we sit on the ladder. That's the point you seem to be missing. As a Port supporter I have no interest in having a rivalry with Collingwood, because there really isn't one (although many Port supporters are still aggreived about the Black n...
