Personally, I think Dusty has Ablett covered.
Yet I have trouble rating Martin as high as Judd.
Yet I rate Ablett higher than Judd.
Makes no sense. But I've seen Martin manhandle Ablett, brush him off like a fly.
Interesting topic on the footy show. Thought maybe we could have some discussion here on it. Who you picking and why?
Im picking Dusty cause I'm biased as hell. But here's a Judd story, he was old and injured and some say he wouldn't play, that he did...
The 2013 Elimination Final was a mish...
My point is,
Dustin Martin is better than Patrick Dangerfield and Nat Fyfe because he has performed in finals and being best afield in two grand finals.
That’s an argument someone with a brain makes.
******* easy to play well when nothing is on the line and your teams been pumped by 80...
With the gap between Richmond and second place hawthorn, it’s clearly the big 1 and the rest of you can assemble yourselves.
When Richmond is successful it’s the big 1, when they’re not, it’s the big 4
We always speak about the best, Brisbane, Hawthorn, Geelong, but never the worst? Vote below on your worst ‘era’ this century. Won’t include the expansion sides.
Carlton (2002-ongoing)
- Four wooden spoons (2002, 2005, 2006, 2015).
- Seven Bottom 4 finishes (2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2015...
Every year Richmond have made finals they've outdrawn Carlton easily.
Richmond have more supporters. More paid members and not to mention Richmond have been terribly mismanaged for over 25 years so the margin could have easily been bigger.
Richmond were also the first Australian sporting club...
Funny how people are comparing Cyril to Betts in this thread, that should be the comparison.
I voted Deledio however, because I'm a Richmond feral and I don't give a s**t who Cyril is, because he ain't wearing yellow and black.
We've all heard this year's draft really lacks depth after pick 10-15, will this affect GWS?
Short term, long term, we might see a team get demolished next year, they don't even have much leverage with trading picks for players because no one will touch anything past a second rounder.
It's funny because on Triple M after the match, Brayshaw pretty much handed the TV to Goddard, confidently proclaiming that was the best mark of the year and nothing would ever top it.
Goddard was very modest and explained to JB that there are still a few games left in the season...surely...
Mick Malthouse confirmed on Footy Classified that Joshy will get his 200th but was VERY unconvincing that Josh had ANY future at Collingwood.
So when he gets delisted this year or retires, would your club take him?
Just like all of Carlton's awesome marking forwards?
Did I or any Richmond supporter say anything about Buddy or Riewoldt?:thumbsd:
The poster asking the question is a Hawthorn supporter.
FYI - I rate Buddy very highly, but I'm very happy with Riewoldt.
