To post a poll you first need to start a new thread. Type in the title and a bit of text in the message area and then scroll down and tick the 'Post a poll' box in the 'Additional Options' section.

Click on 'Submit New Thread' and you'll be taken to the Poll page. Simply fill out all the sections and click on 'Submit Poll'.

This is a very helpful tip. Lately there seems to be a lot of people who dont know how to do it properly and end up making two threads where one of them is without the poll and quite simply useless. Although sometimes it proves to be more popular than the poll thread itself lol

In fact I think it should be placed in the Polls Board, what do you think?
