08 Delistings

Now that the drafts are over who are the likely suspects to get delisted at 08 seasons end?

I think Meyer, JON, Hyde, Howatt, White, Casserly and Hughes (possibly) will all be in trouble. Hopefully we can snap up another midfielder, a star ruckman and a defender next year.

A little early to be thinking about all that dont you think. FFS the season is no where near starting. How about we worry about round 1 first then half way through the year we can worry about who we're going to delist and what we need to pick up next year.

why dont you lets these kids try to prove themselves on the field b4 writing them off for another year. Lets try something new lets support our players...supporters like mad dog are not needed by the rfc go hide back under ur rock..

I think Raines will excel in 08, agreed on the others.
Talent to burn with all 3 of those guys but will it be fulfilled???

Raines and Hughes are contracted for 2009, they will be there no matter what.

From list on an earlier thread White Schulz JON Hyde and Collins are the fringe players listed to be out of contract at end of next season. They would seem to be the obvious players most under the pump to perform to stay at the club beyond next season.

Would guess and say the footy department would want to free up another 5 or 6 spots on the list at the end of next season for hopefully a rookie promotion or 2 and 4-5 draft/psd picks.

Other point to consider is are any of Richo Bowden Johnson or Simmo a serious candidate to retire at the end of 2008?
