same with gambling but ya know

I take great comfort that Crown Casino and other pokies joints have lost billions during this COVID19 crisis, much like the LA Lakers NBA title hopes being destroyed lol 😂

WTF is SEN talking about wine ?

1 - after rum and Dr Pepper, it’s literally the most disgusting drink humanity has ever concocted and

2 - Irresponsible for a sports network to encourage talk about a substance (Alcohol) that is detrimental to one’s physical health/wellbeing.

I get they have not much to talk about with no live sports on, but give us a spell.

Bill Simmons is going marvellously well with his Ringer and ReWatchables podcasts (for example)
I love beer and wine and sport !

Alright, Hutchy has decided to celebrate his de facto mum's birthday, Margaret.

But you sports fans might want to acknowledge that May 13th is also the anniversary of a worldwide sporting institution.

The 70th "birthday" of World Championship Formula 1 racing. 1950 British GP. I wonder if Margaret and her family heard of the news of the race as they gathered round the radio back then?

That was cringeworthy radio featuring Margaret from Sunbury - You want to waste an hour than at least make it during Bob and Andy's show.

Well said Elmer.
The fact that Dr Pepper even exists is remarkable.
Also, wine is like drinking petrol.

I'm not sure why radio presenters need to keep broadcasting from remote locations when pretty much no tv shows are.
It's obviously easier to 'get away with it' on radio, because there are no visuals, but there are still enough fekk-ups, particularly on SEN, to make me think it's not worth it. Along with technical problems, they lose rhythm by talking over each other, etc.

At least they could broadcast from different studios or rooms at SEN. I reckon some of them just wanna stay at home.

Great point , now you can have 5 people , it shouldn't be an issue.

SEN have ads with Doctor Andrew Rochford talking about the dangers of drinking in isolation, then give whiskey prizes away...
lol :thumbsu: ...the old create and control, divide and conquer government formula at play...they create the problem and guess what?..well i'll be dammned,
they just happen to have the solution ready to roll out...same as the gambling advertising amongst other things going on at the moment, wink.wink
