I don't really care about where we sit on the ladder at the moment; nor the fact we've gone 40 odd years without a flag. That is all history.

All we can really expect as supporters is for the players to have a right old crack, come back the next week and do it all over again.

I've had five dreadful weekends, all because each week we build ourselves up for performances we're not going to get but that we hope for all the same. We take the battering each Sunday, get back on here, iron out all the faults, wait eagerly for Thursday for a list of names and then fathom ways in our minds of conjuring a win.

We have 17 games left, make use of them, get out there and support our beloved Demons. God knows that now more than never, they need us.

There is enough there to be excited about.

We shouldn't be expecting a win - we should be looking for the positives in each game - signs that the game plan is coming together and signs that we are getting the right player mix on the ground. Having an expectation that we will win a game in the short term will only lead to more frustration

in this world we live in we face many battles many problems good and bad. you need to go backwards to go forwards. you need to spend money to make money, you learn from your mistakes. so don't get shitty with our club, support them. this is actually an exciting time for the melbournefc. in the next 2 seasons we need to finish last to go anywhere. we need 8 top 20 picks in the next 2 years at least, we'll get brand new facilities in a brand new stadium plus a bonus summer training ground. so put up a good fight deez but just finish short at full time for future sucesss. GO DEEZ 2010 AND BEYOND
