I was hoping someone could help me with the line-up of the 1979 Premiership side, from the backline.

Cheers

A mate of mine who barracks for Carlton actually lent me a copy of the DVD (yes, Collingwood supporters can be friends with Carlton supporters). What a bizarre game of football that was. If you've ever actually sat down and watched the match you wouldn't accuse Collingwood of choking. We very nearly ran over the top of you in the last quarter. Only the Wayne Harmes goal got you home in the end.

You forgot to mention you were 5 goals up at the 20 minute mark of the second quarter in atrocious conditions. Sounds like a choke to me. ;)

You've never even seen the game, have you? lol
i was there buddy. Maybe because we have won that many i might be getting mixed up with 81 or 82. Definitely not. Collingwood jumped Carlton in the 1979 grandfinal and Wayne Harmes didn't kick our first goal to about the 20 minute mark of the second. For memory Jimmy Buckley kick the next from a free kick, Kenny Sheldon bombed one from outside 50 that slid through, we might have kicked another can't recall who it was maybe Mark McClure then Jimmy Buckley got another one when he was trying to pick the ball up in ther goal square to put us in front just before half time.

I think you might have the wrong DVD Horsehead You definitely Choked lol ;)
