2 Questions

Okay I have two questions about the game...

1) Can you change a players preferred position?

2) Can you play Competition mode with edited teams? Eg a created team... Or Team that has been changed around?

1) Yep, if your playing online i'd do it before a match though, because pausing doesn't work online. Just go to the team management option and you can change tactics, change team and/or positions, kick out tactics and tagging tactics. I change my team a little bit before each game to get the most out of my players (ie Sidebottom goes from 60-odd to 70-odd when i move him from the forward pocket to the midfield)

2) You can't play for the AFL premiership or NAB cup, but you can make your own 'season' and play for that.

You cant chnage their preferred position or preferred foot. Obviously you can just change where they play on the ground but the only thing you can change for AFL players is their stats

1) No, this doesn't work, only player positions change. Also, making a player go from 60 to 70 by position change does not make him improve, his stats are just more suited to that position.

Ok, misinterpreted, just thought he meant position on the field. And yah, I am aware the player itself doesn't improve, but moving them to a better suited position is still an improvement nevertheless..

Not sure how good changing their preferred position works either. I made a wingman for my custom team and then later changed his preferred position to forward pocket. And the game still kept wanting to put him on the wing, and gave him crap stats when i put him in the fwd pocket. Only way to actually get the game to recognise he was now a fwd pocket was to delete and remake him.
