How loaded is the Western Conference? 6 teams who I would place on the top of the NBA power rankings. Phoenix will make huge noise this season, but Minnesota will be the new order - and I predict will the win the title. No player is hungrier than KG, and if he can rally the troops, the premiership shall be a cakewalk for the Wolves - unlike others ;).

Indiana have the line-up to challenge the Western Conference powers, and Jermaine O'Neal is probably the next best thing to TiMVP/KG. Whether he takes the next step is entirely up to him. They lost some depth this year, but O'Neal has some outstanding talent around him ready to shine in Messrs Harrington (suck eggs Div Iers), Artest, Bender, Tinsley....

Wish I could share your optimism. We trade off our centre, then the rest get injured, and we sign a European "banger" to fill the spot. We will be running a smaller lineup and trying to outrun the bigger teams. It's going to be a long season I feel

Everyone predicting the Bulls to make the playoffs? That's a stretch, we are a shot but it's a long shot. Depends really on how well CC's and C come on, hopefully a lot, then and only then will the Bulls be a show.

Ill do my predictions a little closer to the start of the season.

I like, except the Lakers will beat the Nets.

Kobe to score 67.3 ppg for the Colorado Zebras...seriously, I hope he's not guilty.

Paddy Ewing to team up with ol' Deke at Noo Yawk to form a Georgetown Geriatrics twin-towers (oh oh) assault. Noo Yawkers getting all sensitive about the obvious nickname for the duo. With Mourning across the Hudson, it'll be just like university days, albeit with Paddy being a few years older.

Zen Master J to finally start losing hair...Mailman, Shaq, Gary P and god forbid the Unfaithful One not co-existing.

The Portland Trailblazers co-existing in harmony, man...courtesy of Damon "this gear is good" Stoudemaire.

Le Bron James entering stadiums to PE's "Don't believe the hype". Is he is the oldest looking 18 year you've ever seen or what?
