My thoughts are that it looks pretty good. I think only 4 interstate is a good result including Perth and Adelaide only once each and as you say, the last 7 in Victoria including the last 3 in Geelong. We'd be favoured to win 8 of the first 12 and with the run home, should be a good shot at the top 4.
The only obvious downsides I can see are playing Port and St Kilda twice, with both St Kilda games at Telstra. It's like giving them two home games!
