Like the look of Nishikori & Dimitrov, I suspect both will be top 10 regulars over the next couple years. I suspect both will also have good results in Australia over the years, they seem suited to these conditions. Still Murray's title to lose though.

Brisbane (or Adelaide back in the day) has always been better than Sydney (ugh!). Isner is now the no.1 seed, and even he is in doubt. Hopefully a chance for Tomic to finally do something if he is playing?

But the womens tour in Brisbane & Sydney is amazing, I really like the womens game at the moment, a lot of competitive quality in the top 16 or so players. I dont really follow the WTA tour all-year-round, just at grand slam time, but the standard is improving.

Dimitrov looking like he has actually put some hard yards over the off season.

Brilliant win by Dimitrov. At times he looked as if he was falter in the third but he fought very, very well. Loved that backhand down the line towards the very end of the tiebreak.

He's gained a new fan today.
 
Could actually a bit career defining for him, no doubt the game is coming along just a matter of the mntal side of it (as well as fitness).

He similarities with Fed tecnique wise still amaze me witht he way he plays.
 
Refused to buy into the Dimitrov hype. Maybe he is starting to live up to now. Great week for him. Enjoyed watching him today.
 
If past Dimitrov matches were anything to go by, it would have been a fair bet to suggest he wouldn't have grinded this one out.

Dimitrov chokes when serving for the set, then plays a poor tiebreak. Any reason for a day final?
 
That's the second time Dimitrov has failed to consolidate on his breaks. The top players do that to you.
 
Pretty disappointing end to the final, would've liked to see a third but Dimitrov's mental strength has a long way to go. He has a truckload of talent though and in a few years I'd bet he'll make the top 10.
 
Still a pretty good result by Murray if he can have a couple of slightly off peak matches and with the tournament... I still don't like him though.
 
Thought Dimitrov tightened up on the big points but he played well against Murray who has had an easier run into the final.

I wonder how Tomic will go in Sydney. This year could be a big year for both of them.
