Huck the Fuskies!!

The biggest Border War in a long long time!

Some good games this in week 6. Florida vs LSU always big.

not that big since Driskel went down for the season afew weeks back

I dunno, Murphy has done an alright job of filling in. In fact, you could almost say that he's done better then what Driskel may have. He's really got their passing game going. The big tests are coming up for him, but he's done a pretty bloody good job so far.

Was under the impression Washington Oregon was gameday confirmed...

Yeah i hadnt updated the OP, because i was still waiting on the missing games to be announced.

Watching LSU has been like visiting bizarro world this season - gone from having elite defense and questionable offense to the complete opposite.

Anyone think a banged-up Georgia are on upset alert against Mizzou this weekend?

And could the ESPN guides at least try to reflect the game length. I IQ'd the LSU-MissSt game, added 20 minutes on and still missed more than half of the last quarter.

the guides are the same length as the guides in america. thats why games have "College Scoreboard" between them. games always go over the 3 hours. i always record the next show or 2 after games

On Foxtel, I generally manually record 4 hour windows and stop the recording when I see that the next game's started. Best way to ensure I get everything. The 20 minute extra recording usually isn't enough and there's nothing worse than missing the end of a good game.

Anyone subscribe to the theory that if Texas loses this weekend, making it three in a row against OU, that Mack Brown is out? I feel if they lose, he's done at the end of the season. If they get blown out, maybe he gets fired immediately.

Keeton out for the year.
Not complaining. Broncos were looking at a 8-4 season. But that 1 injury just turned it into a 10-3 season (We're now winning Mountain and taking down Fresno State*)

*If they make it, their defence is that bad, that I wouldn't be shocked if it's San Jose State or San Diego State representing the West division in the MWC championship game.

Clear run to the NCG from here for the Cardinal. Beat Oregon and UCLA and we'll be on our way to break the SEC dominance.

I can see that happening. Aside from Oregon having played no one of any repute, their defense is suspect. And, it will likely spend too much time on the field because their offense scores so quickly.

wont be easy, the Oregon game the numbers are with us in the fact that Ranked teams on the road for Thursday games struggle. but 2 games vs UCLA [Pac-12 title game] wont be easy. i still think a undefeated or 1 loss pac-12 champion [Oregon, Stanford or UCLA] will make the NCG.

This week will be a huge game for the Ducks. the Huskies D has improved. if they can prevent special teams fails and convert on 3rd down and 4th down they can win. This will be the highest rating Foxsports1 so far in its existence, still thought they would shift it to Fox to get a bigger audience.

Baseball, I think, is the problem. FOX has an ALCS game at 8.00pm that they need to get in. FOX shows Baylor vs. K-State at 3pm. Bad timing, really. Gus Johnson and Charles Davis will call their first ever FS1 game.

ESPN splitting Brent and Herbie up this week. Brent and Todd Blackledge do Texas vs OU at Midday, and Herbie gets a gig with Brad Nessler at Texas A&M vs Ole Miss.

i dont think baseball is a huge issue, since Fox have Kansas State/Baylor at 3:30 when the Washington/Oregon is a 4PM kick-off. the Baseball doesnt start till 8PM. if they wanted Fox could of put the Ducks game on Fox but they might of also wanted to keep it to push more viewers to FS1.

Next week ESPN/ABC have 2 huge NCG impact games with UCLA/Stanford and Clemson/FSU with the Clemson/FSU game going to determine the ACC Atlantic.

Yeah, but they have a pre-game show, which likely takes out the 4.00pm game.

Either you don't watch Oregon play much or you just roll with the opinion that Oregon is all offence no defence? Granted, our defence may not be up to the Stanford level, but they're no slouches. Our backfield is quality, led one of the best corners in the country and our D-line is solid. Main weakness is at linebacker, but they've held up so far and have looked impressive. The whole 'spend to much time out on the field' reasoning doesn't hold. They play and practice the same way every week. Every year our defence spends much more time out on their field due to the offence. It isn't suddenly going to be a problem.

It's going to be a test for sure this week. I think the Huskies have a good team, one of the best they've had in a few years. They can't try and out-Oregon Oregon though. They can't lay the Ducks liek they did the Cardinal. Give Sankey plenty of touches, mix some short passes, option read etc. If Price throws 45 times like he did last week he'll be picked off at least 3 times and if they fall behind early it'll be tough for them to catch up.

But who of real note have you played this year?
