A lot of people picked someone in that price range. Higgins has probably been the best of them. Lumumba has been about the same as noons. Kk hasn't been great. Adcock has been about the same as well

Noons looked like breaking out. Put on muscle, went ok last year, looked like playing more in the mids. Turns out he hasn't really moved into the middle. Also, aside from Armitage, barely any Saints have scored well

The point is, given the lack of obvious defensive options, people were looking for someone to breakout. Despite Noons being shit, I still reckon he was the one that looked most likely to be that someone

Averaged 73ish for his career prior to this year with 2014 being his lowest scoring year of his (short) career.

Newnes had two year at about 57 before an 81 in 2014

After this season they should be. Especially those that have the ability to play a little loose and back them selves for intercept marks.

Docherty was the best pick at that price bracket IMO

I've picked him in the past based on what he showed but he never delivered and I had to burn a trade taking him out. Playing Frawley's role this year. Impossible to have predicted that. I would have guessed Howe, maybe even Garland preseason.

Didn't want to take the risk on Higgins again. At least I picked Shaw.

Docherty was the best pick at that price bracket IMO

Another player I took out of my team at the last minute. Would be nice seeing Docherty and Mcgovern in my team instead of Newnes and Simpson.
