Roast 2015 Top-Ups

Looking at how our recent player acquisitions have gotten so much positive attention this year, did remind me of what a fail our Dangerfield tag-along top-ups have been. Only one of the four played last night, and he was... pretty ordinary, especially in the first half.

Lachie Henderson (p17, 2016 draft) - One good year, one very good year, a lot of ordinary finals and now rustier than an old Fiat.
Zac Smith (p49 and p53) - Probably won't play for Geelong again, having been replaced by someone who was already at the club.
Scott Selwood (FA) - Won't play at AFL level again barring a miracle.

I know I'd probably be looking differently at it if we hadn't put in a terrible shift against Sydney in that Prelim, but with two players effectively washed up before 30, and a third at the crossroads... what a waste.

Zac smith was worth the try. Our ruck stocks were bare at the time.

P. Dangerfield seems a solid role player for us, that role being superman.
