This is a really good pick up. Played very well early in his first season with the Lions in the NAB Cup where they gave him exposure then injuries have hindered him since. A really hungry type of footballer.

Lets hope we can nab a ruckman (Lowden anyone one??) and a key position player now with experience.

Lowden and Spangher have both joined Shepparton United.

Parsons is listed at 191cm and 80kg and played his under-age footy in defence. Parsons attended the AIS-AFL Academy back in 2015.

Here's a photo I've found of Adduci in action (against the Sandy Dragons):

2 minute highlight video of Lachlan Walker playing in the 2015 TAC Cup grand final:

According to his coach at the time Walker was invited to the State combine, he's "a very strong, contested player and bigger bodied midfielder. He's been a genuine leader for us all year and has played two VFL Development League games for Port Melbourne".

Not counting rookies, who was the last player to progress from Box Hill to Hawthorn I can't remember. (Symptom of old age, or has it been some time? I for one, would be very happy to see Box Hill become a feeding ground similar to our seconds in our glory days.

The most recent player drafted to an AFL team from Box Hill was Sam Collins (drafted by Fremantle in 2015).

Subject to the following caveat, the most recent player drafted to Hawthorn from Box Hill was Ben McGlynn (drafted by Hawthorn as a rookie in 2005).

I'm not counting Adam Pattison, who signed for Box Hill after St Kilda delisted him at the end of 2010 - Pattison played one season as a VFL-listed player with Box Hill before the Hawks drafted Pattison as a rookie at the end of 2011.

Most go elsewhere unfortunately - Sam Gibson, Cam Petersen to north, Sam Collins to Freo, Steve Kenna to Carlton. EDIT: as per Dixie's comment above.

We had a while there under Schwab when we always drafted a rookie from BHH, but that time seems to have passed, despite the hopes here for the likes of Switkowski, Exon, O'Donnell and others at various points in recent years.
