Defence is the one area where I've nailed it over the weekend. With Wells to come my forward score is pitiful, midfield score could be passable but nowhere near what you expect, rucks have not played but been woeful as yet. The defence is made up of Shaw(119), Houli(140), Weitering(106), Dea(80), Cameron(92) and Simpson(57).
Simpson the only disappointment but scored 96 and 118 in the first two rounds. Weitering looks to be playing up to his first pick hype after scores of 51 and 73. And at $256K up from $232K at the start of the year with a BE of 28 another big jump is on the way. Cameron was a lucky pickup as I got him at the last minute for $125K when I didn't have a playing emergency. He has a BE of -15 and has increased in price by $53K already.

Based off my eye test and Freako's mentions i reckon;

B. Ellis & Pendlebury are in for a shot at defensive DPP
Ellis would certainly be able to become a top six defender at the end of the season, his ownership would deservedly go through the roof if he was made available as a defender. He's played as both a defender and a midfielder over the first few games. He appears to be moving back to a wing and McIntosh have been playing more of a back flanker, it'll be interesting to see where he plays our next three games now. For a fantasy point of view.

Pendles as a defender just doesn't sit well with me as awesome as that'd be.

Pendles role has changed though. It's not like the mids resting forward because of reduced interchanges - those guys probably shouldn't get forward status imo

Doubt Pendlebury will get it in the first round of changes. Think they'll wait and see a bit longer.
