Which betting agency is give u 51:1? I say this because my tactic like what I do with other things like goal kicking is to bet on a few players who u know will start games early and cash them out at like round 4-6 when u can double your money and they were never going to win the award at all. See Bruce last year in the Coleman and lonie/Sinclair in the rising starGresham. On him at $51 to take it out as well so fingers crossed.![]()
Ladbrokes was offering $51 not sure if they still are.Which betting agency is give u 51:1? I just voted goddard who would be a lock if he plays 15+ games.
Other than that can't see any 2nd or 3rd year players getting one unfortunately and its to hard to tell on the first year players
Crownbet has Gresham at $51 and Blacres at a very juicy $41. Interesting that Freeman is equal-9th in the betting yet only has 7 votes so far here.
I did't see much at a glance probably because its 4 years before they are a chance of winning you a GF if its more then one player nominated and players sometimes don't continue to develop its probably just a good sign but the wheels can still fall off before you get there but Essendon had 5 in 1993 but a few teams have had 4 nominations in a year and not gone on to great successHas anybody done some kind of correlation between Rising Star nominations and premierships?
This thread isn't about winning it though, just getting a nom, hence my slight surprise at Freo's low number of votes.I think his string are a little to freshly pinged to want to lay down cash on. If he plays a few killer NAB games we will all be talking Brownlows instead.
I'm not positive he will play much this year and he may not put a full game together after so long out of it.This thread isn't about winning it though, just getting a nom, hence my slight surprise at Freo's low number of votes.

One time the sub rule would of been an advantage
