For the dogs id like:

- 5 Friday Night games
- Good Friday Footy
- No more trips to Cairns (Have we ever won the week after playing their?)

It's a dream but no Etihad home games would be nice.

Otherwise:

- more even spread of games. Pies fixture in 2016 was loaded with home games before the bye and very few after it.
- Swans in Melbourne. Preferably not with a return fixture (again dreaming, I know).
- more VFL-AFL double header opportunities
- A couple more Friday night games would be good.
- minimal Sunday 3:20s. s**t timeslot.

Essendon's is straight forward.

Round 1 game at the MCG as a home game.
Host Fremantle and Adelaide in Melbourne, but, play Brisbane in Brisbane.

If the popular Friday night games go to better performing teams, then conversely balance out the Sunday 4.40's to the cellar dwellers.

Id actually like the AFL to ditch the horrible 3:20pm time slot, change the times a bit.

I don't care if channel 7 want to go straight to the news after a game.

A fair and even fixture.
No handicapping of teams.
No teams to play other teams off a bye.
Breaks to be matched as much as physically possible. ie. teams off a 7 day break to play each other etc.

Another request.... have a spilt round for the byes.. 4 games one week 5 the next or have a stand alone game like they used to do with the swans v pies.

After the last one it was made clear that it's not going to happen. Richmond wanted to, North and/or the AFL didn't like the 'away' team getting more support than the 'home' team...It upsets their dreams of building North up down there.


As for Richmond's wants.

All games at MCG (we keep asking for that, but the real hope is 'as few as possible at Docklands').

Add in the 'standard' requests all teams would have about breaks, some good timeslots (Friday nights, etc) and the like, and that'd be it.

They do that....You just need to remember that for the AFL/Ch7 'better performing' has at least as much to do with pulling a crowd/ratings as it does wins and losses.

When they're rigging the fixture in terms of who plays who twice - is it 3 teams from your third of the ladder and 1 each from the other two thirds?
