This Treloar rumour was emphatically killed yesterday.

This. I’m pretty sure Treloars manager and Treloar himself have shut it down.

The ‘smoke’ is coming from the hack AFL journalists who love to flog a dead horse into the ground and then continue to flog it. It’s just one big echo chamber in there from a bunch of parasites.

The smoke could be an entirely different target, but we come out saying we're open to trade pick 5, we're open to trading wright and brodie to free up cap space, to me, suggests we're pretty confident of picking up our own Lachie Neale either this year or next

No doubt that’s our intent.

I just don’t think Treloar will be the guy.

It is extremely difficult to get a Lachie Neale type to the club and I’m not optimistic that we will get that big fish. But it’s exciting to see that we’re active in looking for the big moves.

Jack Bowes when he moves into the midfield.

Same could be said about Ainsworth or Flanders..

we are desperately searching for the next big gun mid..

Yet he could be already wearing our jumper.
Playing predominantly in the back half or forward line..

This isn’t the moment we are saying we want Treloar, this is the moment we are saying we could afford someone with the ilk of Traloar, so player managers out there, let’s talk.

Its great we have the cap space to chase an A grader and are prepared to use pick 5.

Whether we can shake one loose is the unknown. A club wanting that pick 5 might just be prepared to give one of their players a nudge out the door.

Yeah, interesting that all these journalists telling us that SUNS don't have a cap space went quiet about it.

Treloar would be handy I guess to speed up the ladder climb but we got a gun talent already. If young core players improve again, even just 10% we will be more than fine.

Witts, Greenwood, Miller, Swallow, Rowell, Anderson, Bowes, Rankine, Flanders, Ainsworth, Weller is a damn good midfield prospect next year. Plenty more can run through there.

Treloar did not want to come last year, DE ordinary, hamstrings could go again, 28 starting 2021 - all not too exciting. Give me Merrett next year everyday.

Idiot Ralph on AFL TONIGHT

SUNS informed Broad that he does not suit SUNS anymore, price a bit too high :).
Powell going nowhere, will play at HB.
Still interested in Markov.

find it odd a guy who isn’t best 22 has priced himself out of a regular gig.

And really odd we wouldnt pay up.
We always pay up.

NM onto bigger and better

Our interest in Broad has cooled quite a bit recently.

Perhaps a rebounding defender has been identified as a bigger need than a medium defender? Who knows.
