I think some of our more progressive fans (and players) would appreciate a Tesla sponsorship but I'm more than happy for VW to market their EV range instead of the Golf and Tiguan.

Oh man I'd ****ing love it if Tesla were our sponsor. My dream sponsor. Will never happen though because Tesla doesn't advertise really.

I just don't get the Tesla love. I know it's all good for the environment etc etc, but what's the diff between Tesla and other electric cars?

Just the dream of autopilot and the first to make electric cars mainstream I guess. In terms of engineering, Tesla is years ahead of the competition.

I get the hate of Tesla though. I'm a Tesla fanboy and I annoy even myself.

The same as the diff between a Tshirt from target and a tshirt from a designer. Mostly just label, status and wank factor.....'look at how progressive i am'.

Yes. They grossly falsified their emissions data for years, got caught red-handed, doubled down, ended up paying US$4.3 billion in fines.

Irony is, if they'd mea culpa'd it when they first got caught, they could have saved billions. Crime doesn't pay.

The Autopilot is a decade away, as it has been for the past 5 decades.

Also Musk is up there with Gerry Harvey, and Rupert. No thanks.

They are also incredibly poorly built.
 
That's the weird thing about Tesla. Even though there are people who are annoying extremist fans, there are also people who are annoying extremist haters, who get passionate over something as small as a boot that won't open properly. I don't see this sort of passion for Hyundai or Kia for making shit cars.

Personally I'd love the swans to have Tesla as a sponsor. VW as far as I can see are also a good company because they knew early that the future is basically electric. So I'm satisfied with that.
 
I know it's Nestle, but Purina would be a good fit, colour wise. Also, fits with us, being cat food.

I won't hear a bad word about Hyundai's thank you. Only two cars I have owned and not a single problem with either outside a standard service.
