I just don't get the Tesla love. I know it's all good for the environment etc etc, but what's the diff between Tesla and other electric cars?

Costs more and is manufactured worse,but you get some glow from that sweet PR.

Yes. They grossly falsified their emissions data for years, got caught red-handed, doubled down, ended up paying US$4.3 billion in fines.
