2023 Player of the Year Leaderboard

To recap, last year Lachie Neale became the first three time winner of our prestigious Player of the Year award. Hugh McCluggage followed up his break-through win of 2021 with a strong second place. Cam Rayner returned from his year off with an impressive third place. Zac Bailey and Keidean Coleman finished fourth and fifth respectively which shows a possible changing of the guard as Jarryd Lyons, Dayne Zorko and Daniel Rich all drop out of the top five from 2021. Lachie Neale put an exclamation mark on his year by winning the award for the best finals player as well. I also arbitrarily changed the rules to give the rookie of the year award to Darcy Fort.

Can Lachie Neale do it again to win this award four out of the last five years? Will Hugh McCluggage win his second player of the year award to join Lachie Neale and Dayne Zorko as the only multiple time winners of the award? Can Cam Rayner build on his strong 2022 year to take out top spot for the first time? And can anyone possibly win rookie of the year apart from Will Ashcroft?

People remember earlier years. He just needs to demonstrate he's got the form of those years instead of using the most recent samples.
