Scores and rankings 2025 Bye Round Performance

Thought it might be interesting to see how folk went through the byes this year.

Given it was spread over 5 rounds it was much easier to navigate imo. Can't imagine too many were getting doughnuts despite so many rookies being DNP's.

Very happy with how my team went going from 11k to 3.6k.

Not as good as you, still happy though.

As you said, not as much opportunity to climb this year because it was harder to fluck the byes up. I liked it when they were harder.

Funny game. Spent a lot of the year stressing about how R12 and R16 were going to be my 'bad' byes, then it turned out that they were my only two decent ones

4.9k to 3.9k, not a whole lot of movement in the end.

Felt like I had good numbers every week, more cover than most, which is what I wanted. But means f all if your premo’s fail and you get rookie scores.

Agree 100% when you have players like Bont dropping out of your best 18 it’s completely stuffed.

Went into the Byes 1015, came out 613

Fairly consistent really with no shockers...

Burnt a few trades navigating and came out unscathed at the other end.

Fair bit of luck involved...won a shitload of League Matchups...

13 trades got me 192 spots better off.
Did make my move leading into the byes though. Came in from a long way out....

Up from 4.4k to 2.6k but I feel it was more luck than strategy.

My plan was to make Rd12 my best bye round then use trades to bring players in off the bye, but that was the one I went down in rank!

After starting the byes on what I thought was the back foot with the R12 bye only missing three premos (including injured Macrae), I was close to throwing the baby out with the bathwater in R13 & R14. Came home with a wet sail to close off the rounds and dodged most of the carnage. Had hoped to maintained my position in top 1% so very happy with the end result.

Hoping to stay in the top 1k from here on. With a full side and a McCarthy loop for DEF/MID/FWD via DPP magic, I'll be saving my last three trades for the eventual late season injury crisis (or a sideways to a bottomed-out Whitfield if the stars and cash align).

Made up about 5000 spots, with two bad and 3 good performances.

Just treading water really. Had a spike in round 15, then dropped again last round.
I never plan for the byes, so not too bad considering.
Much easier this year, spread over 6 rounds.

Treaded water for the first 4 bye weeks but made decent jumps the past two weeks (1k and then 1.2k spots).
Used 15 trades across the period.
Team is complete now so hopefully continue to chip away rank wise

Don’t be to harsh on yourself - Looks like you’ve improved over 4K to me

I’ve halved my ranks
From 16,543 to 8,089

Pretty happy really, but used 12 trades
