I'm nervous for this week. After looking good in week 1 we were poor in week 2. I worry that our game could turn into a shootout and we won't be able to go with Tennessee. Our o-line is a massive issue and could very well cost us any chance of winning.

She isnt the only voter who doesnt watch enough games or is easily influenced by the logo on the helmet rather then the performance on field.

If you took her vote away you should also sack half the playoff committee.

This season in particular has reminded why the polls are a joke until at least halfway through the season (and why as long as you have at large bids, there will always be skepticism of the playoff model)

This season. It's been clear for a long time. Polls before October are a joke. It's why it's good the CFP doesn't start early November.

Early season is just a popularity vote. Especially when not all schools are in conference play till week 4. Both CFP and AP polls are heavily weighted to power 2/4 over G5.

We have the same issue with Heisman voters. Especially those who submit votes before championship weekend or are easily swayed by talking heads on TV like last season and other seasons in the past

I probably just haven't paid as much attention to them as I have this early in the season tbh.

CMC robbed of the Heisman has always confirmed the Heisman voters issue though

So was Luck in RG3s year. And Jeanty last season.

I had Penix just ahead of Daniels in 23.

Heisman also has way too many voters now. And far too few that watch all games especially west coast games that start after 7pm Eastern.

Way too many voters. Basically just a popularity contest now explain how hunter won last year with espn being Colorado fan boys.

Missed the match winning FG. Had to laugh at the commentary. Says the ball faded. It went exactly where he kicked it.

As soon as the lined up for another play with 7 seconds to go I had a vibe it was going to **** up. The false start penalty was almost certain to happen. It probably would have been good from 38 and not 43.

UCLA are in absolute shambles. Also a claimed attendance of 31k, absolutely no chance in hell there was that many there.

Tennessee completely blew that game. Thought Iowa State would have accounted far easier for Arkansas state.

Kansas State are god awful.
