Looking ahead this will be my weakest bye round, and I'm probably going to drop a fair few places. I've got 15 playing, but I'm not expecting much from five of them (Crossland, Cant, Vaimauga, Sandon Smith, Jenkins).

I also made a change to my earlier trade plans. I've decided to trade out Kiraz now that it looks more like a 6 week injury than 4 weeks and bring in Iro for him.

^ It's definitely tempting. Manly have just about the best schedule coming up, but I'm just worried that if he starts killing it, he'll get picked for the 2nd Origin game. I think he'll be straight back in with one injury in their backline.

Yeah, I worry about him being selected for Origin too. Its the type of move that could go really great or horribly wrong! Im suffering through a lot of indecision but im leaning towards going for broke and bringing Turbo in. I figure i need a bold move or 2 to go right to have a chance to rise through the rankings.

Not a great round to be a non Lucas and Fletcher Sharpe owner!

I'd been planning to bring in Lucas for weeks, but was scared off by his apparent shoulder injury which "could reappear at any moment". Didn't look to bad to me! Normally I would have been pumped having Crossland finally score over 50 for the first time since Round 1, but not this week. Lots of below average 40's and 50's in my team this round when I needed them to go big.

Currently dropped back to 54th overall and will be lucky to still be in the top 100 after today's game. Also got Mulitalo missing weeks now. I was 50/50 about upgrading him, but now I've probably got to bring in Lucas for him.

Dropped to 110th from 25th.

Have 350k in the bank, but not sure what to do this week. Prior to Origin 1, I had almost talked myself into trading out Haas and bringing in Koloamatangi via duals and making 230k, but after watching him in Origin he seems fine, and he's still going to bang out 60+ each week even if he plays reduced minutes over the next couple of months.

Have also thought about Ponga to Cleary or Ponga to Jahrome Hughes or Ponga to Lehi Hopoate in the flex and that could still be an option. At least Ponga has the first game of the round, so I'll know if he's going to back up or not which makes the decision a little easier.

Other options are downgrade Jenkins to McCarthy (+280k) and then go Cant to D Lucas or Cant to Koloamatangi. I'm probably leaning this way at the moment.

Fog late out would’ve hurt

It was a disaster. Crashed out to 343 overall now. Also traded in Jahrome Hughes for Ponga who also had a shocker in the rain. Horrible week all round.

I've traded out Fogarty for Cleary this week even though Forgarty's been named. I don't trust Ricky, and there's a lot of talk about him being another late withdrawal which I can't afford. He's also got a bye next week, so I don't see why they'd risk him this round.

I've also decided to take a gamble and trade out Drinkwater for Jayden Campbell. Drinky has a tough matchup this week against the Storm, he's projected to lose 80k, and I wouldn't be shocked if he loses 150k over the next few weeks, so I would probably look to bring him back in 4-6 weeks. I also want to get Campbell in ASAP at 5/8. I don't have the cash to go straight from King-Togia to him, so this will have to do for now. I'll move him up to 5/8 from fullback next week for King-Togia and then hopefully find enough cash to bring in Teddy at Fullback.

I well and truly cooked my season last night.

I tried to be smart and trade out Cleary from my flex, move Jayden Campbell to the flex (wanted to make him captain), and then trade in Tedesco to my backup fullback spot.

I wanted to get another number for next weeks major bye round as I'd just lost Iro with a pec injury that will likely keep him out for a few months, and Cleary isn't playing next week, so I thought bringing in Teddy this week would give me an extra number next week.

I was also confident () Jayden Campbell would have a massive game last night against the Broncos, and I wanted to make him captain. The only way I could make him captain was to move him into the flex spot, and to do that I'd have to trade out Cleary and bring in Teddy. Campbell then proceeded to drop his worst score (27) in 3 years and now I'm cooked!

I'll see you fellas again next year!
